Easy to deal with After a horrible sales experience with Honda of Freehold, tried Honda Universe. I knew that I wanted the Pilot EX-L model. I worked with Gerold who showed me the new features on the screen with Apple Car Play and others. Sales Mgr Ozzy was great and a gentleman every step of the way. They agreed to the offer Freehold reneged on and I left that day with a new car. A long process from time I agreed to the price until I left, but bottom line, very easy to work . Would go back to them for my next vehicle purchase. Already recommended them a friend and they made a deal that Freehold would not make for an Odyssey. More

“ Hooked on Honda Universe “ I looked at a vehicle on line at Honda Universe in Lakewood, NJ. Kaitlyn Kretzmer, the internet sales rep was knowledgeable and easy to talk to and sh I looked at a vehicle on line at Honda Universe in Lakewood, NJ. Kaitlyn Kretzmer, the internet sales rep was knowledgeable and easy to talk to and she asked me to come in and take a test drive. I went into Honda with less than perfect credit and did not expect to be leaving with a vehicle. The sales manager Nick Salerno told me not to worry, his team would do everything they could to get me approved. He spoke the truth. Nick was so nice and kept checking on the progress of my deal. My salesman Danny Patel was great. He was attentive and made me feel like I was the only customer there. He made me comfortable during the entire process. Cynthia Cubero , the finance manager is the best. She went out of her way to get me the best deal possible. I signed the loan papers and thought everything was done and she called me the next day and said she had found a better deal. You don’t find that kind of dedication everywhere. Every person that I came in contact with at Honda Universe in Lakewood was professional, knowledgeable and most of all kind. They are just absolutely a great bunch of people. When it is time for me to purchase another car I wouldn’t go anywhere else. More

He was very informative about the features of the car and was not pushy at all. He gave my husband and I plenty of time to talk alone while negotiating the price of the car. Once we decided to purchase the car, that's where the service went down from there. The car was not cleaned very well at all. It obviously had been sitting for awhile and had collected pine needles and pollen all over it. There were still pine needles under the wipers when I drove it off the lot. In addition, there was pollen in many crevices. Also, there was still protective plastic covering somethings inside of the car. Michael told me he would have it cleaned again for me when I came back for my registration and the plates. I came back to get my registration and plates and was informed by the cashier that I owed $25.00 for the MV transaction. I told her we already paid and it was on my contract. I saw that the price on our contract for the MV transaction was lower than the price on my registration but not $25.00. Where did they come up with the $25.00? We paid the difference and left. Not ONCE did any manager come over and shake our hands and congratulate us on purchasing a new car. Also, car had been cleaned a little better but there was still pollen on it. More
