OVERPAYED EASILY $8,000 Well where do I start. I have a video is me getting kicked out of the Honda store in Ocala for basically calling them liars. They didn't touch m Well where do I start. I have a video is me getting kicked out of the Honda store in Ocala for basically calling them liars. They didn't touch me my mom was mostly shoving me. It just shows you that a dealership will do anything to not hold accountability He rather me not record so that anything he has to say can't be brought back up and a later date because he would be a liability. I asked him let's be transparent here I want to see my moms credit application and the invoice of the car. He went straight into saying and I quote "that's actually none of your business, " my mom can stand by me with that she was in the room My mom bought a car from Honda of Ocala and it was a disaster. First they actually let her put her down payment on a car with her credit card and she's financed through FLCU which is illegal. You can't use debt to start debt. Then after she says she no longer wants the service plan they told her it would take months because they funded the deal. Wait....She bought the car on a Saturday and it's Sunday? I'm confused how this deal is all sealed up? Ok maybe we don't know your terms fair. Then when we proceeded to tell them they can have their car back they told me that it would never happen. It was physically impossible. Like unwinds aren't the death of a dealership. And not just the man in the video also a man in the baseball cap said well we will give you the $5400 back but we're not going to re work any paper work? Well I don't understand how that's possible. At this point they are just saying anything to get us out the door. More
Misleading ** "Click here for our best price" After clicking on "Click here for our best price" on the website and thinking it was a great price, my husband and my son went to test drive the vehic After clicking on "Click here for our best price" on the website and thinking it was a great price, my husband and my son went to test drive the vehicle. When they asked for the price, it was $3,000 more than what we expected. The salesman said it clearly states that the dealer add-ons are not included in the price sent, the price sent was not an actual quote, an 'out-the-door' quote was never requested, and that I should have known that it would cost more as this is a common practice for car sales. The email reply to "click here for our best price" also says that "your best price above is valid for 48 hours after receiving this email." To me, that is a quote. I read the disclaimer, but never imagined that there would be $3000 in add-ons. I asked that they find a car without the add-ons, and they said they don't sell them without the add-ons. If it is impossible to buy the car without the add-ons, shouldn't it be included in the price sent, or in a follow-up email? They said they only have half of a staff today and the salesman that would have seen this wasn't in today. If there are sales leads, I would assume that someone would follow-up, especially on a weekend. To me, the price sent was very misleading. I thought the car would be $21,275 (the price emailed) plus tax, $184 and $899 dealer service fee totaling $23,858..and hoping some of that could be negotiated down. Instead, the first price given in the dealership was $27,117 and the second was $26,452. The "**" is clearly used to get a customer in the door, not send an accurate price, and tell a customer they should have known better. **I will never fall for this again! **I know better now! More
