Dishonest pricing and scam! They advertise at Kelly Blue Book pricing online and once you get to their dealership they up the price $6K or more with "add-ons" and explained that They advertise at Kelly Blue Book pricing online and once you get to their dealership they up the price $6K or more with "add-ons" and explained that is really the market price for the car. If you do your research beforehand you'll clearly see its a game to get you there and they won't make an honest sale. Trade-in negotiations too were a joke! Better off selling private party or to another reputable dealer. You can see Kelly Blue Book pricing for your vehicle and what's fair for an asking price for trade in and they come in ridiculously low. So not only will they be making a huge profit on your trade in but they will also scam you out of thousands on the price of the car you're purchasing there. This business is SCAM and LIES . ..... they need to get out of business in HB city and community. On 4/3/2023, I came to Huntington Beach Hyundai and inquiry Elantra 2023 SEL Conviven ..... they need to get out of business in HB city and community. On 4/3/2023, I came to Huntington Beach Hyundai and inquiry Elantra 2023 SEL Convivence package. I told Cristian and Eric that I am dealing with another dealer in Los Angeles area and if you can give me same deal then i will buy the car here so I don't have to drive all the way to LA. Due promotion 0% for 48 months expired 4/3/2023 so I want to get it done by yesterday with promotion. I shows them my deal with another dealer $420 for 48 months with $5000 down. This dealer asking for $440 for 48 months with $5000 down payment at 6:30 PM. I said No if you can match with other dealer so I have to go there now before they close at 8:00 PM. I left this dealer with my son and on the way to go to other dealer. About 7:20 PM , Eric sale person called me and told me that his manager agrees to sale to me $420 to match with another dealer. I told Eric (OK) I will make a UTurn and go back to your dealer I will be there around 7:45 PM. Then, 7:30 Eric called me again and told me that I can come back tomorrow and his Manager still able to award $420 a month to me because they almost close the building for today. I asked Eric that Are you sure because I want to get it done today because tomorrow my Son have school late and I mentioned the promotion expire today. Eric said don't worry , promised. This morning , Cristian sale person call me and I told him I will be there after work at 5 PM and get it done but Cristian now said they can not give me $420 any more. I asked him to to talk to Eric to what he said to me yesterday but Eric ran away from me. I told Cristian that Eric told me come back tomorrow otherwise I will be there around 10-15 mins before 8PM last night. Ridiculous, Cristian now said Eric told you $420 a month but he did not said how many months or term. REALLY ????? all yesterday we sat down and discussed about 48 months with 0% financing. Later. They really ??? SCAM AND LIES. Later, I talked to Faris General Sale Manager but he driving me to different story. No wonder all employees under his leadership all LIES. I am trying to contact General Manager Ahed Karmach by phone and email but I still waiting for responses. I also will making complaining to Hyundai consumer affair and corporation to report this scam of business. And also, contact to city councils and other news companies for this business. More

UNETHICAL! BAIT AND SWITCH! AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COSTS. We were buying cars for our 16 year old twins, and had a set budget. This dealership had BAIT AND SWITCH! AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COSTS. We were buying cars for our 16 year old twins, and had a set budget. This dealership had a 2018 car listed for a price that would have put the car just over our budget with tax and license added on. We test drove it, and made an out-the-door (OTD) offer for $500 under what the OTD price WOULD have been with tax and license for the list price they advertised. Instead, the dealership came back with an out-the door price that was $5,000 OVER what it would be for their list price. $5,000!! When we balked, we were literally told that they use "low" list prices to get people in the door, and that they have to use the add-ons once people are there to get the price BACK UP to "market value." When we refused, they said they would meet our out-the-door price (which again, was essentially their list price + tax and license -$500) ONLY if we would buy a $3,000 warranty. Their final offer was to sell it for $2,000 more than the price THEY ADVERTISED. When I said I disliked the bait and switch tactic, they responded with (I kid you not) "I told you. This is just how the market is. All dealerships do this. You're frustrated now, but do you really want to go through all of this again with another dealer later." We left. There are, in fact, MANY dealerships who do not do this, and do honor their advertised list price. We ended up buying not one but TWO used cars from TWO different such dealerships. READ THE DEALERSHIP REVIEWS BEFORE PUTTING A CAR ON YOUR LIST, NO MATTER HOW GOOD THE CAR OR PRICE LOOKS. This is the one dealership where I forgot to do that step, and am kicking myself for the hours and frustration wasted on this place. (They texted me three days later and asked, "Have you had time to think about the deal we offered you?" Ironically, that text is what reminded me to leave this review.) More
samir sell manager and erick one of the sales guys were nice until i tried to be clear on the numbers so honestly If in any way you feel that the actions of this dealer arise for you as a consumer, they c nice until i tried to be clear on the numbers so honestly If in any way you feel that the actions of this dealer arise for you as a consumer, they can follow a record in these 3 institutions. The truth is that my experience is very negative. https://www.bbb.org/ https://www.dmv.ca.gov/portal/customer-service/dmv-complaints-ffinv-1/ https://www.ftc.gov/ I would have liked to have read the reviews before going to this dealer. It really surprises me a lot the practices of this place to put a lower price than what they actually sell the vehicle just to attract you to buy and then literally force you to buy their packages because it is a very bad practice on their part Fortunately, there are actions that can be taken so that these types of places are put under review. If you feel that something went wrong with your negotiation and you do not know who to turn to to obtain true information, advise yourself with https://www.bbb.org/ https://www.dmv.ca.gov/portal/customer-service/dmv-complaints-ffinv-1/ https://www.ftc.gov/ These unethical actions on the part of the company should be reported and reviewed as many incidents do not happen without reason I hope the pages can help you and the comment warns you of what awaits you More
Huntington Beach Hyundai will bait and switch. They will advertise at one price and then when you come and talk to them, they'll upcharge you 5 figures in "accessories" that they don't disclose an They will advertise at one price and then when you come and talk to them, they'll upcharge you 5 figures in "accessories" that they don't disclose and are not optional. That's the literal definition of bait and switching people. When pressed they won't even reveal what these "accessories" include. We went in to check out their 2022 Kona N line that they've had on their lot since December 2022. They have been advertising this car for about $24k. When we show up, the car is in the back of the lot, with a dead battery, and the paint chipped in the front. None of these are big deals on their own but when we sit down to discuss price. They hand us a sheet that says the car will now cost $30,000+ Basically the price for a brand new one. There's a line item.for "$8k" in accessories that when pressed the sales person went "what do you want me to list them all off?", And then would refuse to list them. The only accessory they outright stated was 'paint protection" but the car was ALREADY SIGNIFICANTLY CHIPPPED! it had a huge chip in the paint on the front bumper that was bigger than a quarter. What does this "paint protection" even do then??? When asked about the $26k price they advertise online, they state that's the "wholesale price" and "they can't sell the car for that price". I've never heard "wholesale price" used in reference to a used car. They do not list these non-optional accessories online and the $23k price is the one they advertise. No wonder it's been there for months. Don't shop at this dealership. Avoid at all costs. More
Dishonest dealership be aware. I purchased a used 2021 Subaru WRX STI at hyundai of Huntington beach on 9/23/22. I paid 57k for this car. I took it for a post purchase inspection I purchased a used 2021 Subaru WRX STI at hyundai of Huntington beach on 9/23/22. I paid 57k for this car. I took it for a post purchase inspection and was told the car was sold to me in an illegal condition as it was sold to me without catalytic converters, an illegal intake and exhaust. I reached out to the dealership for resolution to this and corresponded with Shant Megerian who stated that since it was less than 4 years old it didn’t have to be smogged and they were completely without fault. It is illegal for a dealership to transfer ownership of a car in this condition. I have given them the opportunity to make this right and have gotten nothing but a xx runaround. I am in the process of litigating this in small claims court and filing a complaint with the DMV. Do not ever buy from this shady place Edit: I forgot to mention, as others have the sneaky add ons to the sale. Items like unwanted and never disclosed digital plate, gos tracking, etc. added 10k+ to final price. These are the stereotypical “used car salesman” to be avoided at all costs. More
