Unfortunately, my experience with this dealership was extremely disappointing. The salesperson, Ben, gave me information about the features included with a Tucson Hybrid SEL Convenience that I later disc extremely disappointing. The salesperson, Ben, gave me information about the features included with a Tucson Hybrid SEL Convenience that I later discovered was inaccurate. Because I was told another customer was also interested in the vehicle, I felt pressured to make a quick decision based on those assurances. The presentation of the vehicles was also disappointing. Ben showed me new cars that were visibly dirty, including drips inside the doors and marks on the light-colored interiors. When I commented that it was a turnoff to consider buying a new vehicle that already looked dirty, Ben told me the service employees were supposed to wear gloves but did not always do so. That did not inspire confidence in the dealership’s attention to detail. I had not picked up or taken the vehicle home, but I had already signed the purchase contract when I discovered it was missing several features I had specifically asked about. I returned to the dealership and met with Ben and a manager to discuss what had happened and review my options. During that conversation, the inconsistencies in the information I had been given became apparent. Despite the circumstances, the dealership attempted to move me into a more expensive vehicle without offering any discount or other consideration. I ultimately had the contract unwound and walked away. I’m very glad I did. I left and went directly to another dealership, and my experience with Hunter Hyundai was amazing. They treated me with respect and helped me purchase the Tucson Hybrid Limited I actually wanted at a reduced price and an excellent interest rate. The difference between the two dealerships was night and day. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend Hunter Hyundai instead. More
Service was done very quickly and efficiently as usual. Been using them for 3 yrs with excellent results. Prices are reasonable vs outside repair shops Been using them for 3 yrs with excellent results. Prices are reasonable vs outside repair shops More
I found a 2020 Toyota Tacoma on Hyundai of Asheville’s website, inquired about it, had a salesman reach out to my cellphone and discussed what I was looking for and the price range I was looking for, the website, inquired about it, had a salesman reach out to my cellphone and discussed what I was looking for and the price range I was looking for, the sales rep called and texted me everyday for a week to make sure I was still coming to test drive the truck. Drove over 3 hours to Asheville to test drive the Tacoma, got there and was welcomed with open arms, talked logistics, went over CarFax, service records, inspected the truck and took it for a test drive. I’m not a mechanic and thought it ran fine. Once we got back to the dealership, started discussing money. I had a large down payment so I would keep my monthly payments low. The salesman brings in the financial manager, he was a hard sell on purchasing a warranty. With all the paperwork showing everything was up to date with servicing, no accidents, CarFax clean, I declined and they gave me a 30 day/1000 mile warranty. I put down close to $25,000 down and financed the rest. I left Asheville and headed home, 9 days later the truck hit 1000 miles and the check engine light came on, I took it to a Toyota dealership to have it checked, found out that the truck’s computer data had been deleted and the diagnosis report showed major engine damage, it had excessive ticking in the engine, cylinder 1 was damaged, crank case breather was damaged, exhaust valves seats and valve guides defective, needed passenger side cylinder head replaced and all passenger side exhaust valves replaced. It had air fuel ratio imbalance with 80% leak past the exhaust valves out of the crankcase breather. In all it was going to cost $8789.93 to fix the $31,000 Toyota Tacoma in purchased in good faith from Hyundai of Asheville. I called no one would speak with me, if I got the chance to speak with someone, everyone was too busy to talk with me. I emailed the manager, the sales manager and the salesman that sold the truck, the sales rep I worked with even blocked my cell phone number, I’ve still have gotten a reply. I finally talked with the finance manager, first thing he asked me was how many miles the truck had on it now, I told him it was turned over a 1,000 miles on day 9, his reply, should have purchased the extended warranty. I told him the Toyota technician told me that the truck had all this issues prior to my purchasing it and the data log had been deleted and at the 1000 mark the engine light came on and exposed all the damage and the truck should have never been on the lot and should have never been sold. I have reached out multiple times to Hyundai of Asheville with no one taking accountability, I just want them to pay for the repairs or at least half of the repairs to make this right. I got taken advantage of by a big corporation that makes millions a year, I don’t have that kind of money for a working class man. They say with a limited warranty, I bought the vehicle “as is”, which is in violation of the Implied Warranty of Merchantability Act which states a vehicle with concealed engine damage may not meet the standard, even sold “as is”. It also falls under the Unfair and Deceptive Trade Practice that protects consumers under law if deceptive practices in the sale of goods. I actually give them 0 stars because they refuse to talk with me about making this morally right. They knew what they were selling me and they were holding their breath that the check engine light wouldn’t come on before the 1000 miles. Do not buy from Hyundai of Asheville, they knew exactly what they were doing, no morals. More

While I appreciate the pre-paperwork and efforts to get the legalese done quick, it was still longer than I wanted. Really no complaint. They let me send in documents the day before and the finance guy w the legalese done quick, it was still longer than I wanted. Really no complaint. They let me send in documents the day before and the finance guy was pleasant and efficient. Adam Nania, the salesman, was wonderful. His initial response to my questions about a Genesis G90 led me back to him and his patience throughout the process is why I bought the Sonata Limited Hybrid and bought it from HoA. I have walked away from several dealerships over the past few years because of salesmen. Completely different experience with Adam. Adam was breath of friendliness and patience. He stayed in touch but never pushed. He gave me the time/space to make up my mind. He humored two test drives and showed me how the gizmos and tech work, offering follow-on, post purchase tutorials. I am happy with my purchase and that comfort is largely due to Adam. I never felt pressured and always felt welcome in the showroom. More
Knowledgeable, friendly and very hospitable. Also more efficient than other places we’ve purchased cars. I’d definitely go back there for another purchase. Also more efficient than other places we’ve purchased cars. I’d definitely go back there for another purchase. More
