Not believable !!!! Brought my 20111 Sonata Limited in for a recall. While there I asked the service person to have the front door handle lock/unlock function checked bec Brought my 20111 Sonata Limited in for a recall. While there I asked the service person to have the front door handle lock/unlock function checked because intermittently it failed or worked, both sides. I waited for the car to be worked on. I was told it would cost $120.00 to diagnose the problem, I agreed. I watched from the side as the car was worked on. The recall work was completed then the service mechanic left the car. I waited another 1/2 hour and nothing was done to the car. I walked back in to the service desk area and met the service person handling my appointment. She told me that the problem was in BOTH handles and they'd need to be replaced, at a cost of $843.00. I asked how could BOTH handles fail at the same time with the same exact symptom. I got humma humma as an answer. I think the service mechanic didn't diagnose/look at anything but decided to just replace things that might fix the problem. I don't think they know what's wrong and are just trying to get me to pay exorbitant fees. More
