Our lease for our 2009 Genesis was due in October but my husband and i happen to see the new Sonata and inquired about trading in our lease early to lease the Sonata. We had recently read in Money magazine about TrueCar.com and went on to investigate prices on the new sonata and were immediately contacted by Hyundai of St. Augustine and our salesperson - Joe Lando.Joe went above and beyond to make the deal happen. On Saturday we drove up to the dealership to sign the papers and met with Rich Roberts while Joe was taking care of another customer. While there the owner Andrew DeFeo came over to introduce himself and thank us for doing business with his dealership. The deal was completed within an hour and it was the best experience we have ever had leasing a car. You have customers for a long time. More

Hyundai S/A gave the best price and seemed to have the best attitude to go with it. Although I told the other two dealers during my earlier conversations that I wanted one price with no back and forth, no games, they both called me later asking for another chance, and seemed insulted I would not play their game. Everything was straight forward and casual with Hyundai S/A. After a minor misunderstanding on my initial visit to the dealership, I spoke to owner Andrew Difeo. He was very apologetic and seemed genuinely disturbed by the mistake. Andrew then went above and beyond to correct the problem and gave an even better price to make up for my trouble. I truly believe Hyundai St Augustine is trying to change the stereotype impression most people have of auto dealerships, "one car at a time". I would recommend them to anyone. More

From the very beginning I couldn't have had a friendlier, more helpful salesperson. I never felt pressured or belittled. All of my questions and concerns were addressed. Joey Cassatta was the most responsive to the quote request and any other questions. He provided accurate and detailed information through his emails compared to confusing, uninformative, delayed on non-existent emails from other dealers. He followed-up through the phone when appropriate but was never pressing. He was as pleasant and efficient to deal with when I finally visited to finalize the offer (no gimmick added, exactly as presented through email). He accompanied me back home with one of his colleague to deliver my car as I drove the new vehicle. His colleague Andrew Difeo also offered great information including home delivery possibility and remote paperwork if required.. We were fully satisfied by this streamlined and reliable internet ordering channel with the human touch when desired. We dealt with two salesman Joey Cassata and Frank Messina, the general manager and the finance manager at this dealership. They were more than generous in offering us an extended (overnight) test of the models we were considering so we would know we made the right choice. This was far more accomodating than the Huyandai salesman in Jacksonville who said we must limit our test drive to 5 miles or less. The dealership was a no-pressure setting and as relaxing as one could hope to experience in buying a new car. We made 3 visits to the dealership before we made our decision and the staff became quite familiar with us and still showed the same hospitality and consideration as on the first visit. We finally selected a model and the negotiations were unbelivably simple and satisfactory. We were given an offer, we countered and they accepted. We were very satisfied with the deal we made and the overall experience. You will not be dissapointed with any salesman you meet and hopefully you will have the same positive experience we did with this dealership. More

Abosolutely the best experience I could of ever have wished for in buying a new car! I was referred to Joe Lando by a friend of mine. However, My son had asked me to go to Tampa where he lives so that he could help me with my search for a new car. Our experience at the 2 Hyundai dealerships in Tampa were "just ok", but we were not comfortable at either place. I received a call from Joe asking me to please keep in touch with him before making any decision on a purchase in Tampa. My son called Joe and right away felt very comfortable with him and confident that Joe was the one salesman and the St. Augustine Dealership was where we needed to purchase my car. From that point on, everything fell in to place perfectly. From choosing the car, working the finances and then the happy moment of me driving from the lot in my new Santa Fe! Joe also made sure that I personally met Andrew Difeo, the General Manager and knew every aspect of my car before I left. It was also apparent that everyone that worked there knew the product and stood behind the name of Hyundai. I feel very confident knowing that I will be treated with respect and friendliness whenever I return for the maintenance on my vehicle. I even went so far as to ask the people in the waiting room that were there for service on there cars if they were happy with their cars and the dealership also the service dept. They all said great car nice people working there. I only have the car for four days and I've received alot of nice comments. Love the car and the way it handles.
