Joe, the finance officer was very patient and helpful, explaining the additional warrantee packages that were available to us and didn't try to pressure us into adding anything to our original purchase, although we did opt to get the GAP and the 10 year/ 100,000 mile extended coverage. The two individuals, we dealt with, went way out of their way to make us comfortable and to help us find something that we would enjoy and could afford. After finding out what we were looking for, we test drove a few of the vehicles on the lot. Even the test drives, with Martin, was first class. No pressure and he really seemed interested in finding the right car for us. Jordan, made the suggestion of a 2014 Elantra lease car instead of a used vehicle. It fit into the budget parameters that we had already given them, while looking at used cars, and the deal was done. What we really liked was the complete lack of pressure, that one normally receives when shopping for cars. Another plus for this dealership was the friendliness of other sales people that we casually talked with. We really enjoyed talking to "Bird". The relaxed atmosphere and friendliness really made you feel as if you were part of a family. We have told others about our superior experience and one of our friends has already purchased a used vehicle there. She too feels the same as we do about this dealership and the staff. More

You see, I had a b I have been driving a 15 year-old Saturn, thinking that it would be a long time before I could qualify for a loan for a newer car. You see, I had a bankruptcy about 20 months ago, caused by both a catastrophic medical condition and the recession. A friend of mine suggested that I give Hyundai of St. Augustine a phone call, but I resisted until I got a flier in the mail that advertised assistance for persons who had been through bankruptcy. Now, I had received dozens of similar fliers shortly after my bankruptcy was discharged, but I figured that these advertisements were simply ways for car dealerships to charge outrageous finance rates. So, all of those fliers went into the trash. But when I received this one, I remembered my friend's recommendation. It is very unusual for older, single women to have a good experience at a car dealership, so I decided to take a chance. When I called, I made contact with Chris "Bird" Clark. He was very brief and low key. I told him that I wanted a 4-wheel drive SUV because I live near the beach, and I wanted a good used vehicle. He asked a few well-thought-out questions, such as "is there another 4-wheel drive vehicle in your household - Yes). How much do you use 4-wheel drive - not much). What do you need cargo space for -- hauling plants, mulch, gardening supplies). Chris asked if I would give him my e-mail address, and he promised not to bombard me with ads, just a few photos of possible vehicles. Well, he sent me two choices, an SUV, and an Elantra Touring wagon. I hated the color (a vivid blue), but I called and agreed to come in for a test drive. WOW -- after 10 minutes, I realized that Chris knew what I needed better than I did! The Elantra Touring was perfect in every way. Chris even anticipated one of my pet peeves, i.e., head rests that force women's heads forward when they wear a hair clip. He immediately adjusted the head rest so that it worked perfectly. Well, three hours later, I drove off the lot with a new (to me) 2011 Hyundai Elantra Touring. I am absolutely thrilled with every feature, and even the color (ugh) is growing on me. I did not have any money to make a down payment -- because of the bankruptcy -- but David Mayfield went to bat for me. After checking various banks, he came back and said the best interest rate I could get from a bank would be 10%, which was a deal-breaker. But, I gave him my pension and social security figures, and pay stubs from my part-time job, and he came back with financing through Hyundai at 1.9%. WOW, WOW, WOW. I didn't realize how hard he had worked until my "identity theft" report was mailed to me and showed that he had contacted 10 different banks! I am so impressed, and so grateful for this second chance to re-establish my credit. And, I am just thrilled at having a comfortable and dependable car to drive. I am indebted to the fellows at Hyundai of St. Augustine for making this possible, and I tell every one of my friends and co-workers about the great deals available at your dealership. This was simply the best car buying experience that my wife and I have EVER had. It was the fastest, most thorough, fair and honest deal we've experienced. They even delivered the car to our home and picked up our 2011 Santa Fe that we traded in. That is what I call "White Glove Service"!!! In the last 5 years I have purchased 3 vehicles and have brought 2 family members to purchase vehicles. All have been pleased. I have taken my vehicle to Hyundai St Augustine for my service needs (oil etc.) Service Advisor Debi has done a great job. She takes the time to explain everything and explain car service needs options. Let me share with you a personal story. Last December I spent 4 weeks in the hospital. Withion a week of my arrival at the Hospital, Debi and the Service Team sent me a "Get Well" card in the hospital. It was signed personally by each employee of the Service Department. IN 20 YEARS I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED A LEVEL OF QUALITY SERVICE EQUAL TO HYUNDAI ST. AUGUSTINE. Who else does this? NONE !!!!! Thank You. Thank You. Thank You More
