After researching all of the many possibilities out there, and knowing it was time to replace my 2008 SUV, I happened to be at the Hyundai dealership for a service check, and spotted the jazzy new VELO there, and knowing it was time to replace my 2008 SUV, I happened to be at the Hyundai dealership for a service check, and spotted the jazzy new VELOSTER! Not only did I luck out with finding a wonderful vehicle for my specific needs, I had the opportunity to experience the "Paul Smathers" treatment. Paul is not only knowledgeable of every detail - from the high-tech stuff to basic maintenance, he is a warmhearted, down to earth individual who made me feel at home and kept thing simple. I took delivery of a new 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe for my daughter last evening. I contacted St. Augustine Hyundai and worked with Shawn Michael Hays. During the entire transaction, I found Shawn to be the consummate business professional: quick and accurate responses, aggressive pricing and absolute assurances whenever needed in order for me to feel 100% confident that the deal would be a smooth and positive experience. I had the option of purchasing from local dealers, looked at several competing models and had numerous pricing quotes. Nothing came near the experience I had at this dealership, and this was my 54th car purchase. I can honestly say that dealership left me, my daughter and my wife with the most positive overall impression I have ever had on any big-ticket purchase. Everyone at the dealership was courteous, friendly and professional at all times. Shawn even stayed late on a Friday evening to accomodate our schedule. We spent a month searching for a used vehicle to replace one that had been rear-ended and totaled. Went to a lot of dealerships in St. Augustine and Jacksonville. Salesmen were basically playing the same old games. Found a car on autotrader.com that was at Hyundai of St. Aug. Went in that evening. Glen was our salesman. He was very friendly, helpful, easygoing. No games whatsoever. He was very informative and made sure we understood everything. Best salesman we had dealt with in our month-long car search. Gave us the price we saw on the internet which was great. Went back the next day to complete the paperwork and drove off with the car. Glen was very professional. When we are ready to buy our next vehicle it will definitely be from Hyundai of St. Augustine. More

Dealings with both Paul Smathers & Randy Selph on the internet. Both were great and professional. Dealings with Randy Selph (sales) and Eddie Brooks (finance)when we went to dealership. Again, another good experience with these two individuals. Randy has followed up by phone to ensure we are happy and to see if we have any questions or concerns. This is my 4th Hyundai, each of which has been a great car. The price is great and the quality is superb. I had a minor problem with a coating rubbing off my leather steering wheel, and they just put a wh car. The price is great and the quality is superb. I get a free wheel, then a car wash and vacuum. Then, to top it off, I get this debit card for Hyundai 'misstating' the MPG...really cool, and totally unnecessary (besides, I get the mileage they said I'd get!). I'm Hyundai for life, and St. Aug. This was my second purchase now from Hyundai of Saint Augustine. The first experience was so pleasant as opposed to other dealers in the area that I gave them first choice to do repeat business. I was not disappointed, in fact I was not even expecting the level of service I received from them. I spoke with my sales rep (Joey Cassata) a couple of days prior to my appointment and he asked specifically what I was looking for. When we spoke he had the car I wanted but not the color so I thought I would settle for my second choice. A few days later when I went to my appointment the exact car and color I wanted just happened to show up that morning (yes, I realize it was no coincidence). The price was more than fair, the amount of time spent doing paperwork was minimal and before I knew it I was on my way home with the car I wanted. That is the level of service that will keep me going back to Hyundai of St. Augustine when I am ready to purchase again. More

I started looking and talking to different dealers about 2 weeks ago. Found the car that I wanted and then called the St Augustine location. Randy was incredible. Gave him all tne information that I had on the car, he called me back in less than 30minutes, had prices and then we started with the purchase. He then called me back and upgraded the deal from a GS to an SE for the same price. THey gave me the most money for my 2004 Kia that I was trading in..... Saturday, when I went to get my new car, my friend and I were talking on the way down and I figured there would still be some haggling going on.... what a pleasant surprize.... parked, Randy introduced himself, handed me the keys to my new 2013 Hyundai Accent SE, said take it for a ride.... came back, meet with Eddie, signed the papers.... and bam...the car was mine. In and out in little of an hour and a half. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful. This was the BEST car experience I have ever had.... I will continue to go back to St. Augustine Hyundai and they now have a loyal customer. I will be referring everyone I know to them... Thanks to all the staff. More
