Love the St Augustine Hyundai dealership! In 2010 we leased an Elantra for two years, when I knew my lease was ending soon I visited the dealership in March 2012. Rosie knew I wasn't ready to walk out with a car that day but still took the time to let me test drive a new Elantra and ran some numbers so I had an idea of what I could get later that year. Fast forward to October 2012...I called Rosie to schedule an appointment and tell him the model I was interested in. As soon as I arrived at the dealership we hopped into the car and went for a test drive. I already knew I was sold on the car but they did not have the exact color combination I wanted. Luckily, they found one not too far away and promised to have it to me in a couple days. Less than 24hrs later my car had arrived & Rosie stayed just after closing time to walk me through the features and hand me the keys. I definitely recommend the St Augustine Hyundai dealership if you want a friendly, no pressure buying experience. More

I was referred to Hyundai of St. Augustine by a happy customer in Jacksonville who said the local Hyundai dealers can't touch this dealership. I made contact by email and Shawn Hays (among other reps the customer in Jacksonville who said the local Hyundai dealers can't touch this dealership. I made contact by email and Shawn Hays (among other reps there) responded. My wife and I drove to St. Augustine on Labor Day. Shawn met us and the first thing he did was show us a 2013 red Hyundai Sonata LTD. He knew we were not shopping for new, but he wanted us to know the many features that came standard on the Hyundai Sonata compared to the competition. After 5 minutes he had put the icing on the cake for all the investigating I had already done. We drove two Hyundai Sonatas and my wife fell for a 2011 Hyundai Sonata LTD that had just been traded in and had not yet been detailed. After a short but pleasant back and forth for price and other considerations, we bought the car. Due to the hour of the day, Shawn agreed to have the car delivered to our home in Jacksonville on Wednesday. When the car arrived at my home there were several serious concerns I had about the preparation. I called Shawn, he said he was very sorry and he would make sure I would be happy if I brought the back. I took my Hyundai back the following Monday, Shawn provided me a Hyundai Sonata to drive for the day, I gave him my list, and by 4 p.m. the car was ready again and it looked like it had just been driven off the show room floor for me. The engine compartment was clean enough to perform open heart surgery in. I was very pleased with all that Shawn, his GM, Chris in the Detail Department, and several others did to the car, and for me, to deliver me the "looks like a new to me" car I had purchased. My brother in law Patrick Joray highly recommended Hyundai of St. Augustine as he has bought several cars from this dealership. As a result I made a contact and found Mr. Clark to be above and beyond reproach and felt comforable enough to go and drive from Orange Park Florida to St. Austineine and see Mr. Clark and was able to test drive at length a car that fit perfectly the type and make of vehicle I wanted. I had for all intents and purposes made a decision to buy a 2011 Hyundai Pacific blue color from Car Max in Jax. I was able to test drive a pre owned 2011 Hyundai Santa Faye from Hyundai of St Austine and was quoted over $3,000.00 less than the Car Max car of which did have 11,000 less miles but in the end primarily because of the kindness and overall attitude of Mr. Clark made a decision and bought a beautiful 2011 Hyundai from Darrell Clark. I am a very satisfied customer and look forward recommending this salesman and dealership to all by family and friends and so look forward continuing to drive my new car of which I am very proud of.I even feel better as a person because of this purchase. Chris ("Bird") and Matt worked very hard to fit me into a 2013 Elantra GT. I was extremely happy and impressed with their professionalism, knowledge and the friendly treatment I recieved. Althoug me into a 2013 Elantra GT. I was extremely happy and impressed with their professionalism, knowledge and the friendly treatment I recieved. Although I feel I probably could have negotiated a slightly better deal at a handful of other Hyundai dealerships in Florida using the Costco Auto Purchasing Program, it was not worth my trouble or the expense to travel to the nearest participating dealership in Orlando to save a few bucks. I will recommend your dealership to anyone who asks me for my opinion on a new Hyundai purchase. More
This is likely the longest review I've authored. All well deserved... I've stopped into the Hyundai lot several times over the past year, to check out a few vehicle that caught my eye in passing. I well deserved... I've stopped into the Hyundai lot several times over the past year, to check out a few vehicle that caught my eye in passing. I usually speak with Matt Lowry, however, when Matt has been unavailable, I've had the pleasure chatting with several other sales people, each were always informative and friendly. I never felt undue pressure from Matt or any of the others, which is the exact reason I felt comfortable enough to stop by Hyundai of St. Augustine time and time again, yet never returned to certain nearby competitors. Matt always appeared to do be doing "his job"; bringing me inside, following up via phone and/or email, however, always did so in a professional and palatable manner. When dropping by to check out the Honda, I was greeted by Matt and asked him a few questions about the vehicle. Matt then offered a test drive. Roughly about 15 minutes later I returned to say that I'd like to buy it, pending a mechanical inspection. The ease of my quick decision to give my business to your company, was the direct result of all of the aforementioned positive customer experiences. "Kudos" to Matt, staff and management for ensuring such a pleasant experience. In the end, when all was said and done, I am positive that I "left money on the table" both in price and back-end finance profits for the dealership. With all the Bells and whistles of the Sonata, the electronic savy guy Joey, not only explain all the features of the car but paired my Ipad and Cell phones for blue tooth operation into the car's electronic system.
