There are two people I would like to commend. First the manager Kirk Guillotte who when I called him to tell him my car would not shift out of drive, he walked me through how to use the shift release button and told me if it happens again to bring the car in. Within 5 minutes of speaking with him it happened again, but this time thanks to Kirk I was able to release it and drive directly to the Hyundai of St. Augustine service department.
Kirk treated me with a great deal of respect. He was concerned and did not treat me like a 65 year old woman who who doesn't know what she is talking about. After a while William Jennings (the other person I would like to commend) came out and said it seems to be working now. They could not understand why it did not work before, but if it ain't broke don't fix it.
8 days later the very same thing happened. This time I was in my garage when it would not go out of gear. I called and was told to come in. When I did they assured me that this time they would not release the car to me until they found out what was causing this problem. True to their word, William found the problem and fixed it. I have had no trouble with the car since and feel confident that if I ever do have a problem these two gentlemen will back me up. Thank you, Gwen Smolik
