We went to this dealership looking for a sports car but changed over and decided on a truck. The initial bargaining was what you expect, a numbers game. We got what we believed to be a good deal; however, changed over and decided on a truck. The initial bargaining was what you expect, a numbers game. We got what we believed to be a good deal; however, you are required to buy their “Jerry Ulm Package.” This includes a few things like window tint. The truck we wanted had not been tinted yet. We were told to bring it back and they would tint the windows since we are paying for it. According to the salesman it would take 2hours and he would fill our tank. Side note we live one hour away. All good so far. While going through the financing they make it VERY CLEAR that you will get a survey and unless you give them basically a 10 on everything they won’t get their bonuses, etc. They even give you a copy of how they want you to fill it out. After being there all day we are finally ready to go home. Around a day later I text the salesman Paul the date that I could bring the truck back for the tint. All good, he says the one man that does all the tint should be there and to be there around 9 to make sure we are at the front of the line. Fast forward a few days, I’m out of the country and get an email link for the survey that they want me to do in order to get their (the salesman and finance person) their bonuses. No problem, the survey doesn’t expire for another two to three weeks, I have plenty of time. I get texted and called by the salesman and finance person asking why I haven’t done the survey because I said would give them the scores they wanted. I should have stuck with my gut and waited until I got the tint on the windows. When I get back into the country I go to complete the survey. One part of the survey basically asks if we got everything we paid for. Well the windows weren’t tinted so no I didn’t. I contact the sales person, making sure this won’t affect the tinting of the windows on the agreed upon date and he assures me it will not. I complete the survey, giving them the scores they ask for so they can get their bonuses. Fast forward to the day we agreed upon for the tint, around five week prior. Five weeks is plenty of time to make arrangements for everything to go smooth right? Yeah not so much. We text our sales while we are on the way asking where to bring the truck when we get there. He says he will check with the tint guy. We arrive 35 minutes later, still no word. Mind you this is 20 minutes prior to when we’re instructed to arrive, again we live an hour away. When we get there we ask again where to go. He replies to hang tight outside because he is still setting it up. Not sure why he waited five weeks to set this up. After about 10-15 minutes he comes out with two other guys, Addison and Grant. We were asked if we were leaving the truck for the day, well no because we were told it would take 2 hours. We then get informed by our salesman that the tint guy is on vacation and the truck had to go somewhere else for tint. Really, five weeks ago we asked about the date, and the day we bring the truck you find out the guy is on vacation. In my opinion that’s garbage. I point this out to our salesman because again, we live an hour away, he said it would take two hours and now we get this. His attitude when I point this out was ridiculous. Maybe if I waited to do the survey it would have been different. When I ask about him filling the gas tank he again had an attitude, asking how much gas we were working with. I should have drove it until it was empty and then pulled in. Fast forward, Addison and Grant were great. Very easy to deal with. Tint looks great and the tank if full. That being said we left our house at 0740am, arrive at 840am. They take our truck around 915am. We basically walk around the nearest mall until 1242pm. After it was all said and done we leave the dealership at around 1pm. So the two hours changed into just over 4 hours. I really wished I had waited to complete the survey. Don’t get pressure into doing it like I did, and don’t deal with Paul. More
