I will not use Jim Butler ever again. For four years now I have been dealing with Jim Butler as that is where I leased my truck in 2015. My experience started horribly. My name was butchered on every document and it took me months to get it corrected. To this day, I still receive solicitation emails from Jim Butler with my name spelled incorrectly. The purchase took over 8 hours of my day. My salesman was NOT at all knowledgeable about the specifics of the truck I wanted to purchase. I have been lied to by the service department repeatedly. I have received quotes for service and those quotes were NOT honored once I brought the vehicle in for service. This happened twice. The service department is not at all timely. The service costs are way overpriced compared to other similar services. When I tried to purchase my vehicle at the end of my lease is took me over 4 months and no less than 20 phone calls to get someone to actually help me. I will never buy or lease a vehicle from Jim Butler again. More

After receiving a recall letter from Chevrolet concerning my 2015 Volt, I made an online appointment at Jim Butler in Fenton through the My Chevrolet app. That went smoothly, and I received an email confirmation of the appointment. When I arrived for my appointment it was clearly very busy at the service bay and it took approximately 20 minutes to check in. When I finally did meet with my service rep. Mike Johnson, I was told that designated Volt service techs were busy with work and that I would have to leave my car for 3 days before the software update could be performed. That was unacceptable. Mike did agree to have the service dept. call me back in when the update could be performed and this did happen 2 days later without problem. That visit was smooth, with fast check-in and prompt service. However my initial appointment, trip to the dealership, and lengthy initial check-in were totally unnecessary, and a big waste of my time. A simple phone call to let me know the techs were backed up was all that was needed. Not sure if there is a "who" to blame but certainly there is some process improvement needed. More
