I have an extended warranty through Ally on my 2017 Silverado 1500 with 96K miles. Late last year I was having an intermittent "rumble strip" feel while driving above 40mph. Having a 2016 Suburban that Silverado 1500 with 96K miles. Late last year I was having an intermittent "rumble strip" feel while driving above 40mph. Having a 2016 Suburban that had just had a seemingly similar problem less than 6 mo ago that required a new torque converter and eventual transmission replacement it seemed prudent to take the Silverado in. When I took the Silverado in November per the phone convo with advisor, I assumed like the suburban it would take a couple of days. I was shocked with poor communication and 10 days without my truck that yielded only a transmission fluid change for the issue (I get going with the fluid change first, but shouldn't have taken nearly that long). The issue persisted so I took it back in for a scheduled appt on Monday March 8th. I was again shocked to get a call on March 10th from the advisor that he'd be out on the 11th and they didn't expect to even look at it until the 12th. Despite voicing my dissatisfaction, it didn't get looked at until the 12th. They indicated that it would indeed need a torque converter, but that it wouldn't get there until the following Monday the 15th and I should expect it back on the 16th. When the 16th rolled around there was another excuse why it wouldn't be ready until the 18th. Aside from another 10 day stretch without my truck, the same issue still persists. Would never recommend someone buying a vehicle or seeking service here. More

Brought my volt to have a recall item corrected at Jim Butler. They did it in a timely manner and called me when was ready.
