Extremely Accommodating I looked on the internet for a used car and saw that Jim Ellis Mazda had a used car in which I was interested. I called the dealership and talked with Mike Fresquez. Either the next day or the day after I visited the showroom and asked to speak with Mike, but it was his day off, so I was referred to Feroze Iqbal. I explained what I wanted and he advised that for almost the same price I could get a new vehicle instead of a used vehicle with 32,000 miles, 2 owners, and being formerly leased. Wow, I said, what's the deal. He explained about a "manager's special" in which I might be interested. After due deliberation and a test drive, I purchased the car. Feroze was extremely courteous, intelligent, and accommodating, which I suspect were principle reasons I purchased the new car. Since I had visited the showroom alone, in a separate vehicle, I asked if there was a way they, the dealership, could deliver the vehicle to my house.......a little negotiating here since I just bought the car. They agreed to deliver, I wrote the check, and away I went....a happy camper! More

Oil Change/Other Service I went in for an oil change and found out that I needed another service. They performed the services in good time and set me up with a payment plan. The only thing I wasn't happy about is the wash and vacuum they promised me. The car was half washed and not vacuumed at all. Don't offer something if you're not going to deliver it. More

Better communication and attention to detail needed Went in for two factory recalls. Windshield wipers and touch screen. They reinstalled one but never checked the reinstalled part (the recalled part) w Went in for two factory recalls. Windshield wipers and touch screen. They reinstalled one but never checked the reinstalled part (the recalled part) which was in worse shape than the one they replaced. Meaning I had to come back to have entire system checked. This is very inconvenient considering I live outside of the metro Atlanta area. I appreciate them washing and detailing my car. But would prefer they actually did the work that I wanted after $75 for a oil change but fail to put the hubcap ( that was in the truck) back on. I was informed that the touch screen was out of stock and on back order. (Does it mean they have ordered and will call..I don't know). They were pleasant enough and the waiting room comfortable is why I rated them Fair. I was give a loaner thinking mine would be done that day ( I hung around in the city). Only to return before closing to be told they weren't going to look at the car till Monday ( this was Saturday). The service department has to work on their attention to detail and better communication. I was even billed for the recall work! (It was eventually taken care of) More
