The Automotive Group also provides shelter, food, clothing and counseling to homeless women and children by donating to the Oliver Gospel Mission for their new construction of Toby’s Place facility. Jim Hudson has also donated a blood mobile, 3 Emergency Response Vehicles, 2 Vans to the American Red Cross and donates regularly to other local charities including the American Heart Association, Special Olympics, D.A.R.E., and The South Carolina Troopers Association. In addition, Jim Hudson has personally served as a sponsor for the charitable organizations of Lexington Medical Center Foundation, March of Dimes, Prisma Health Foundation, SC Highway patrol foundation and The Boy Scouts of American Indian Waters Council. In recognition for all his charitable work, Jim Hudson was presented with the Order of the Palmetto, the state’s highest honor, for his extraordinary work and dedication to the citizens of SC. Beginning with the phone call from Ms. Daniels to schedule the appointment to the delivery of my serviced Lexus, everyone was friendly and eager to offer their assistance. Upon arriving in the service lane, I was greeted by Mr. Alston. This was a 99,000 mile routine checkup. He explained what services would be done and I requested a loaner while the service was being completed. Before returning the loaner, I received a video from the service technician, Mr. Woodbury. He informed me the service was complete. I also received a text from Mr. Alston telling me the service was complete. Upon my return, Mr. Alston explained the completed service and explained I may need tires at the next service. I was very pleased with the entire service experience. More
