Once in a while you still find a business that will go above and beyond for you in a time of need. That's what I experienced at Joe Machens in Jeff City. My family, including 2 young sons, were in a ver above and beyond for you in a time of need. That's what I experienced at Joe Machens in Jeff City. My family, including 2 young sons, were in a very rural area when our 30000 mile explorer started experiencing what I thought to be significant transmission issues. We were about 5 hours from home and didn't think we'd make it without a major breakdown. I called the dealership and was connected with Angie Hulsey, who listened to our situation and told us to come on in. They immediately did diagnostics, and found the the issue, which thankfully was only a sensor. 2 hours later, they had received the part from 30 miles away, installed it, and had us on the road. They shop foreman (didn't get his name) also stopped what he was doing to help find out what was going on. We could have easily been stranded far from home for days, but these great folks kept that from happening. We are so thankful that the service team recognized our predicament and made that extra effort to help us out! More

The wait in the customer lounge to get a “scheduled appointment” oil change and tire rotation done is absolutely ridiculous!!!!
