Purchase used Honda Accord My purchase from this dealer was not what I expected. So supposedly my car was purchased new and traded back in with this dealer. Supposedly all servi My purchase from this dealer was not what I expected. So supposedly my car was purchased new and traded back in with this dealer. Supposedly all service was done by the dealer and the car went through a “30 point” inspection before we purchased it. So my purchase was made on a Saturday,. On Monday, I noticed a noise coming from the passenger rear wheel area. I went to the dealership on Tuesday. They could not look at my car, I had to make an appointment and by the way that will be a $115 diagnostic charge. I said I just bought the car on Saturday. They waived the fee, insert eye roll. So I made an appointment for Saturday. I was there early and the service tech said it would be about 30 minutes. Well some 90 minutes later, the service tech returned to tell us I needed front rotors. I said the noise was coming from the back. The service tech went back out and about 15 minutes later came back and said I also needed brakes and it would be $1600 to do rotors and brakes. Needless to say my husband was not happy. They said well if you would’ve bought the extended warranty this would all be covered. Well what about the “maintenance service” you did on the vehicle for the prior owner and what about your “30 point inspection” shouldn’t this have been found before you put it back on the lot to sell? No answer just we’re sorry. Where is the customer service and we care about our cars and customers??? The 30 point inspection is a TOTAL JOKE!!!, and the maintenance service for the previous owner TOTAL LIES.. If there was a service record, why didn’t we get a copy of it showing everything they had done, BECAUSE THEY DIDNT DO IT! I received an email from the service manager later that Saturday on how I thought my service was. I went through this whole story and said I expected Justin Hinderer to make this right since he was so concerned with our happiness with our purchase. Guess what, I still have not heard from him and that was August 10th, or did I get a response email from the service manager, Surprise Surprise. I would NOT recommend this dealer to anyone. I will not purchase another vehicle from them, and I will not have any service done there. More
