Everything went very smoothly; Tom was always available to talk to me or get right back to me in a timely fashion or explain any questions I may have had. I absolutely love my 2011 Jetta! Great on gas and she rides like a beauty. Overall, great experience, the entire staff was very friendly and nice cars. More
Tom and Matt made the purchase process easy and transparent. I wanted a rare model (two door R in blue with sunroof) and so we had to wait for the factory to build and ship the car. Tom kept me updated every step of the way and respected my requests for times and methods of communication. One minor inconvenience was that he had no voice mail - when he was not available, I had to leave messages with the receptionist, which discouraged comprehensive information. I admit I'm not reciprocal here - I hate listening to voice mail myself, but find it useful to direct at others. During my final acceptance I found a minor defect - one of the trim panels in the rear bumper was not seated properly. The situation was handled very professionally. Even though it was past 7 on a Thursday, a technician came, tried to fix it on the spot, decided he had to use a lift, and returned the car within about 15 minutes. The franchise owner, Brian Kelly was there during my final inspection and was very friendly and open. He clearly made the other employees somewhat nervous, but the overall atmosphere was very relaxed and he seemed genuinely interested in my purchase. I don't think many owners take such a personal interest. Kudos to him. More
The reason I chose the rating that I did, is because I received great customer service, along with a great car from this dealership. Everything went great and I ended up with my new 2012 VW Passat. I hate buying cars and this was the best car buying experience I've had in a very long time. I had shopped at many different dealerships and came back to VW Danvers. I never once felt pressured into making a decision and felt very comfortable with the staff. He went out of his way to accommodate me and dad. He was available at all hours via email or by phone to answer any questions we may have forgotten to ask. His sense of humor also helped in the sale! :) At other dealerships I went to and test drove cars, they took me around the block and back. I never fully got to experience the car. When Tom took me to test drive my Jetta he told me to keep driving until I felt 100% comfortable, that is when I knew this was the dealership and car for me. Tom was not scheduled to work the day I was picking up my brand new car, and still came in to show me all the bells and whistles and set up my iPhone along with all my favorite radio stations (this was the night of the Bruins playoff too!)He still emails me every now and then to make sure everything is running perfectly and that I am happy! This is exceptional customer service and I would strongly recommend him to anyone, along with the entire dealership! More

I bought my Jetta from Brenden Kelly and he was very helpful through the entire process.
