Unfortunately there was an issue with the transmission replacement on my Forrester. I immediately knew there was an issue and called the service department as soon as I got home from the dealership. The technician I spoke with told me to drive back and they would take a look at it. I am a single 65 y.o. woman who drives a Subaru because of the safety rating and dependability. I was already a little shaken up from the trip home. Hearing the loud, unusual noises and thinking I may soon be broken down at the side of the road, I was not going to attempt driving back to the dealership. Brian, the Service Manager, had impressed me through the repair process by keeping me informed and genuinely caring, so I called back and asked for him. He took care of everything! Within an hour I had a tow truck at my house to bring my vehicle to the shop and I was able to ride along to pick up a loaner car. The transmission that had been installed was defective and needed to be replaced. I don’t know if I would have broken down driving it back to the dealership, but Brian made it so I didn’t have to find out! He was truly incredible. I am not from this state and did not buy my vehicle from your dealership, but when it is time to upgrade you have my promise I will purchase my next Subaru from your dealership. Brian has made you a customer for life and my Fiancée is also a Subaru owner. We will be spread the good word! More
