Awful customer service, made appointment car never got into garage. Had to press repeated times car finally got back into shop and supposedly fixed. Literally the best. Trey was our sales person but the entire staff was Super accommodating, caring, and made sure I got the best price. No pushy sales tactics for add ons. Was a very easy hassle free car buying experience. Told my salesman what I was was looking for and wanted to spend. Before I knew it paper work was done and we had keys in hand. If you are shopping for a car, please please please do yourself a big favor and run!! The following is a string of bad conduct by Lakeland Volkswagen, the last of which occurred on Saturday, August 28th, yourself a big favor and run!! The following is a string of bad conduct by Lakeland Volkswagen, the last of which occurred on Saturday, August 28th, 2021. The most nasty, aggressive customer service I have ever experienced, at ANY business, in all my life. Period. Whenever I thought the level of rudeness could not get any worse, they proved me wrong. In the beginning, things began well, the car I had seen online was as advertised, the test drive went smooth, and they even stayed over hrs to help answer any questions I had about the vehicle. When we (the sales guy and I) began crunching the numbers we landed on a number that was in my price range but I was still just a tiny bit hesitant. It was at that point when absolutely everything went downhill from there. He began treating me very poorly after I had expressed my hesitation. He became very much irritated and it became clear he was trying to pressure me into signing a contract just so he can make some money. So, I left. After searching around I came back a few weeks later and we were at a table talking over his offer. When he finally left the table, I went on my phone to do a little last minute research on the car (just to be sure) and not even 15 seconds later he comes back and begins to creepily peer over me, leaning directly in to my personal space, to ask me what I was looking up on my OWN xxxx phone. I wanted to tell him none of your xxxx business, but I decided to keep it cool and professional and told him I was doing some research. He left and NOT 1 MINUTE LATER he comes back, leans over my backside and does the same exact thing, and repeated this several times to the point where I just wanted to get the xxxx up out of there. I tried my darnest to disregard this man's poor behavior and just look at the car for what it was (red flag alert!!). So I slept on it, came back into the dealership and we agreed to a deal. Everyone wins, right??? Nope! While I am transferring my belongings over to my new car the sales guy could not resist showing his true colors and began pestering me, AGAIN, this time over how long I was taking to transfer my belongings from my old car to the new one. Oh, and this time, he is directly in front of me, inches away from my face with no mask. So, I politely asked him, several times, to give me some space, but he just would not take the hint! It got to the point I became so freaking irritated I just wanted to get the xxxx up outta there. When I finally finished transferring my belongings over to the new car, his boss comes storming out if his office and grabs all my belongings out of the new car I bought and throws them into my old car cursing at me telling me he is not selling me his car because I am taking too long to transfer my belongings. Yes true mother freaking story. THE WORST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE OF ALL TIME. RUN AWAY. More
