Well, I bought a Sequoia that only had 1 key and it was a Valet key. I also learned that locksmiths with the right software can clone the key so it works. So I call Larry Miller Toyota and they tell me they can and I told them twice it was a Valet key and they told me they could make another key for me. I drop it off and ask them to let me know if it will go over $200 and 2 hours later I have to ask how much longer it would be (they quoted 1.5 hours). It turns out they can not make a spare key, but they did program the FOB that I already programed myself and never asked them to do anything to and they charged me $325 for essentially cutting a key I bought in the parts department and it will open the doors, but not start the darn car. Their solution was to extort me for $1500 for an new ECU. I have heard Toyota service is great, but these clowns don't know a thing about Toyotas if it took them 2 hours to figure out want a dope like me could figure out in 30 minutes of web browsing, that is a very bad sign. Toyota service is BY FAR the most clueless bunch of yahoos I've dealt with. I guess it is good that they are reliable because you don't want to deal with these thieves. Buy a Mazda, their mechanics know what they are doing at least. Save $325 and 2 hours of your life and find someone else to do the work you need done. More
Today was the last oil change in my 3 pack service package. I will not be returning. I had hoped after buying my 4Runner through Larry Miller they would be the best ones to service it. I was wrong. I package. I will not be returning. I had hoped after buying my 4Runner through Larry Miller they would be the best ones to service it. I was wrong. I purchased aftermarket tires for $1600.00 outside the dealership. I then went to them to have all oil, tire rotations, and alignments done. My 4Runner recently got a bad shake to it. They did an alignment and rotation but nothing changed. Took it to another tire shop who said the off roading tires on my car had not been rotated in 8+ months. And they were not able to be salvaged. Bought new tires outside the dealership two months ago ($1500) and had an alignment done. Today went in for my service at the Larry Miller Toyota where they assured me the tires are always rotated and they were not responsible for the previous tire issue. Fine. Get home and guess what?! They didn’t rotate my tires. Does the sign off sheet say they did?! Yes it absolutely does. And I was assured by my service manager that they had been rotated and you could check “recording” of it being done. The tires were color coated with their starting location before going in and they are still in the same location after. Liars. Legit would not recommend to a soul to go there. They cost me a set of tires and are now trying to cost me another by not doing the bare minimum they say they do!!!! So unbelievably disappointed!!! More

After the service I noticed an instability light and Hazzard sign on the dash board this happened the last time also. I called the service desk and was told to bring the car back on getting there the service rep. Was so rude with food filled in his mouth insisted that I should pay $280 before any diagnosis. I tried explaining to him that this happened the last time and it was fixed. He was irritated and impulsive and told me to come back on Tuesday to meet whomever that did it the last time. Such person should not be in customer service. More
The Service center is lacking in the ability to Service the cars they sell. And the service advisor seemingly isn't interested in good service delivery. 😒 the cars they sell. And the service advisor seemingly isn't interested in good service delivery. 😒 More
