I got an oil change when I arrived to Colorado my cap wasn’t on so I had to take my car back to the Kia dealership in Colorado as I was spitting oil everywhere. I bought a 2018 Hyundai Kona used at Lawton Kia on October 10th 2023. The right headlight shown on the ground not out in front of car. I took it to dealership and they were supposed to fix it. They said they would have to take The front bumper off. The headlight was not in the socket. They said they would have to adjust the hood because it would not close properly. We got the car back and the hood will not close. Another dealership in Clovis New Mexico, informed us the car had been wrecked. You can see damage on left side front bumper. This was never said anything to us about when we bought the car. We only got one key and had to buy another one. Was leaving for vacation And car battery was dead Replace the battery in car still would not start. We had to replace battery and key battery at same time. I am going back to Kia this week to complain about the hood not being adjusted properly. Service department at Clovis New Mexico showed us where the holes had been drilled out to move hood over. One other thing when I was buying this car, the sales lady drove it off the lot for approximately a mile, the pulled in a parking lot and let me start driving my test drive. They had a set course to go on. If I buy a car I want to test drive it where I want it to go. I should have been able to drive it off the lot Immediately and not a mile later. Diane Carroll, Lawton, Oklahoma. And they fixed the headlights free. Then they ordered a hood latch around 12/13/23 and they never said a word abt a cost. I thought this was also covered because I still thought they sold me a damaged car. Out of the blue Tuesday 12/26/23 they called me and said I owe them $383+ and I went along and paid in full right then. My insurance said I shouldn’t have paid it because it shd have been part of the claim. I took my car to Mullens Body Shop and asked if Kia really put a new $384 hood lever on my car and he said yes. When I told him Lawton Kia charged me nearly $400 for the lever he said he could have bought one for $100–which reinforces what every told me—dealers charge at least twice as much.AND he showed me all the bolts and drilling under the hood. We don’t understand why you charged me almost $400 after 2 weeks and some kind of miscommunication in the service dept. that’s not my fault as I was under the impression that just like Kia didn’t charge me to remove the bumper to fix the headlight. I shd not have been charged. Right from the start you guys cheated me on the price of a 5-yr old car with lots of miles and made me pay tag and tax. More

I purchased a tire rotation and and tire repair along with my oil change. My tire is still leaking. Received an $80 oil change, we had a $20 coupon that was emailed to us but it wasn’t applied, car had sone damage from hitting an animal on the road, price for repair was estimated at $5,900. We had car towed to a reputable auto shop and they estimated the repair to be about 60% less than the quote at Kia. I used to really like to bring our car to this Kia but the last two trips have been rather unpleasant. There is more but I’d rather not discuss it. Something has changed in the service department and I don’t feel it’s a good change. More
