My wife and I had a great experience at Leith Honda while purchasing a new Ridgeline. Sean Rahimi kept the negotiations relaxed and low-key, never once bringing over the sales manager or pressuring us in any purchasing a new Ridgeline. We’d gone back and forth a few times, and I was pleasantly surprised when Sean came back and said ‘Congratulations, you got your price.’ I will absolutely ask for Sean the next time I purchase a new Honda! The one negative was the higher-pressure pitch on the extended warranty when we talked to Finance to finalize the transaction. We had already agreed to a price for the new car with trade-in and had an idea of what our monthly loan payment would be. We did not know an extended warranty would be offered at the time of sale, or we would have gone in with that understanding. I would have preferred to know up front about the extended warranty options, so we could take that into account when calculating our payments. These warranties can add hundreds of dollars to a car payment, since they’re added to the total loan value and paid off during the life of the car loan. More
