Pleasant Buying Experience Unlike the other dealerships that I had visited in Knoxville looking for a Ford truck I was not attacked by a sales person as soon as I got out of my Unlike the other dealerships that I had visited in Knoxville looking for a Ford truck I was not attacked by a sales person as soon as I got out of my vehicle. Instead I was asked to take a look around at my leisure by a lovely young lady named Ashley and feel free to ask if I needed anything. It was very nice to get to browse at my own pace without feeling the pressure of being watched. The selection was much broader than I had seen at other lots in East TN, I had grown tired of seeing the same trucks over and over. They certainly had varying options and colors to choose from. Ultimately they had the exact truck that I had been looking for (which I had been told at other dealers in town wasn't an build option might I add) and lead to me proceeding to go forward with the part of vehicle purchase that we all dread...the negotiations. To my surprise the continued no-pressure attitude resumed and there was no haggling back and forth, I was given the best possible price the first time. Which was the lowest I had found in town for comparable MSRP. Despite this ultimately I decided not to purchase this day because I needed to take a few days to think it though. I was immediately thanked for coming in and no further discussions were made to persuade me to do something I didn't feel was right. I was not hassled the next few days as I made my decision and I was greeted by name when I returned 3 days later. I can only hope that all of my future vehicle purchases will go this well. If not, it will not be for lack of attempt on my part because I will be returning to Lenoir City Ford to attempt to replicate this experience. More
