Justin the GM was quick to resolve the issues with my new truck purchase. I would give a 5 but our salesman Mike B was more interested in telling stories and bragging about reviews than he was in closing our truck purchase. Their 3rd party warranty is very bad. If I knew how bad I would have bought elsewhere and they do not help you. They wash their hands of it and leave you stranded. I told Mike I was on my way that night, I drove all night, which put me at their doorstep before the opening bell, yet I waited for nothing, Mike greeted me with a smile, and we were filling out paperwork, I had a psychiatrist appointment that had slipped my mind, he kept working away while I toiled with the shrink. It was well before lunchtime I was back on the road in a vehicle I’ve been told by multiple dealerships was very difficult to obtain, and was an impossibility at the very least. I began my search for a new truck at the beginning of March 2023. Specifically, I was interesting in purchasing a Ford F-350/450 dally crew cab to tow an RV i have on order. I went to a Ford Dealer and March 2023. Specifically, I was interesting in purchasing a Ford F-350/450 dally crew cab to tow an RV i have on order. I went to a Ford Dealer and put a down payment on a new 350 Lariat. Unfortunately, Ford was unable to provide an estimated manufacture date to the Ford Dealer. The best they could offer was an indefinite wait for something to happen. I went to a Ford Dealer in Huntley, IL who carried a fairly wide offering of trucks, but they honestly did not seem to be interested in selling me anything. They would not respond to emails or to voice mail messages. So I widened my field of search. (I live in the western suburbs of Chicago). The nearest seller of a wide assortment of trucks, I discovered, was in Fond du Lac, WI: Lenz Trucks. I called them up about a truck I saw online and talked to Brian Pahnke. He was extremely responsive. He answered my questions and was extremely quick to respond to voice mail inquiries. I provided information on my trade in and they came back with an offer, sight unseen, The offer was 3k lower than the KBB trade in value and I countered with splitting the difference. They responded with 1k more. Inasmuch as that was an acceptable counter offer, I agreed. I made the appointment to drive out to Fond du Lac. When I arrived, the truck was already out front. I took it for a test drive. They did the same for my car. 20 minutes later, I was in the finance managers office signing the documents and the vehicle was mine. They did a great job explaining how vehicle sales are handled in WIsconsin. I turned over my title, they gave me the keys, and I was gone within an hour of arriving. This truck was the 18th vehicle I have purchased, and certainly falls in the top 5 purchases with regard to ease of purchase and cooperation of the those involved in the sale.
