Jay was nice as ever and had time to catch up. Engine coils had to be replaced and inquired about a power window regulator. The regulator was not in and had to wait for the part. 1. The repair on the moon roof wasn't initially fixed so I had to bring it in a 2nd time. 2. They simultaneously did door related recall, but when I got the car home the door on the passenger could not be I had to bring it in a 2nd time. 2. They simultaneously did door related recall, but when I got the car home the door on the passenger could not be opened from the inside. That was a wow moment for bad quality checking. 3. A few days later on a road trip the rear roof handle fell off with minimal weight. Subsequently the front driver and passenger handles also literally popped off when using them as designed. This upset me more than all the other things since it makes my car feel weak. I spent $60,000 on it for this level of service? Honestly, My wife and I have only purchased Toyota (and this Lexus) for the last 25 years. No, I have lost faith in the brand because of this experience. I'm not exaggerating either. I have been aggressively paying off my loan so it's easier to sell the Lexus and get into a more robust feeling car. AND while we are at it... the fact that my remote connection to the car will be unusable in 2022 because 3G networks are going away is unbelievable. The staff at the dealer hadn't even heard of the notice sent to owners about this issue. And as far as I know there was no remedy for the owner even an owner that was willing to pay for a modem or part upgrade to work on the newer networks. Lexus has let me down at the dealer and that means a lot to me. PS. I put 5 stars for one guy because the form forces me to choose a person. But the guy I worked with isn't listed. Please don't think that I am a complainer. I am normally a 5 star review kind of guy all the time. But the handles coming off after the repair really upset me. Came in to see if we could get a better lease deal on our 2018RX and got an upgraded 2020 RX hybrid for only $9 more a month. So we traded in our 2015 ISC as well for a 2020 ES hybrid lease and reduced our m 2018RX and got an upgraded 2020 RX hybrid for only $9 more a month.
