Hello, Sean...thank you for sharing your feedback. I'm sorry that you felt the need to update your original 5 star review. I've checked our service history, and I do not see that you've been back with your car to have your low fluids concern addressed, so unfortunately I'm unable to address that c omment. Our vehicles do indeed go through a thorough 152 point certification process, so everything should 100% ready to go when you took delivery. If that was not the case, we definitely need to know about it, and will certainly make it right. Unfortunately, the "fees and charges" that you're referring to are not ours...the cost of titling and registering your vehicle come from the state...NJ in your case. We do our best to make sure that our customers are aware that we'll be titling and registering your vehicle, and paying these fees on your behalf, and that when you pick up your registration, you'll reimburse those costs (exactly what we paid on your behalf). That way, whether you wait on line at MVC or we do it for you, the cost is the same. We do this in two different ways...on the buyers order, there's a dedicated signature box that states "Subsequent to deliver of vehicle Dealer will invoice Customer for the actual costs of titling and registering the vehicle. Customer agrees to pay the charges." The second measure we take is in the form of a separate signed document dedicated to this disclosure which states "Liberty Subaru will perform all Motor Vehicle work pertaining to the purchase of your vehicle. We do not estimate Motor Vehicle charges and the cost of your temporary registration, permanent registration, title, and license plates are not part of your buyers order. I understand that when the permanent registration is received by the dealership I will received a receipt detailing the charges associated with the transaction and I agree to reimburse Liberty Subaru for this transaction performed on my behalf." These measures are taken in an effort to eliminate the "unexpected" nature of the MV reimbursement by making sure our customers are aware of how these fees are handled up front. I'm sorry that you felt that these charges were unexpected, but we do feel that your signatures on both of these disclosures indicate your understanding.

Hello, Ms. Rosa...thank you for taking the time to let us know about your experience. I have reviewed your service history, and I do see that, with the exception of your first visit, you always come in on Saturdays, but all of these visits have been for routine maintenance. Many of our customers are unable to get in during the week for routine maintenance due to work schedules, so we typically only do maintenance and "quick service" type work on Saturdays and schedule more complex work during the week. When you came in on the 29th, your had two concerns...a loud noise at highway speed and a vibration. Upon inspection, we found that the noise was being caused by loose exhaust heat shields, and the vibration was caused by your control arm bushings, which were completely worn out. Both of these can be handled on a Saturday, so we took care of the heat shields for you at no charge, and replaced your control arm bushings, which were actually causing an unsafe condition. When you called back to let us know that you still felt a vibration, it was suggested that you drop your car off during the week (with a complimentary loaner) so that we could spend more time with the car. There was no dishonesty or unwillingness to help, only an effort to schedule more time with your vehicle so that we could get all of your concerns taken care of...I apologize if that was misconstrued. I'm not sure what your mechanic found regarding damage...the only parts of the control arms that are serviceable are the bushings, which we replaced on the 29th. I feel badly that we did not live up to your expectations, but would welcome the opportunity to make the situation right.
