"I went there for a recall and first I was told it was an..."

I went there for a recall and first I was told it was an all day job so I brought my car the night before. They gave me a rental and told me it would be done about 3. I called at 2:30 and was told at 5 it would be done . I got there at 5 and it was not . I sat there for an hour and a half . By this time 6:30 . The service rep comes out oh they are almost done and now I’m the last customer there and he says I’ll give you another loaner car and for sure it will be done tomorrow. So I get a call mid morning that it’s done. I get there and I see my car and the glove compartment is not flush and it’s kinda bent at the end. Well the ladies at the service garage are friendly enough, I couldn’t get an answer why my car was left like this! I mean how could you look at the job you did and see it’s subpar and say it’s good enough and all the whilst knowing that’s not how it looked before. The only thing I can think of is because I m a recall and not brining money into the store. My car is older and it’s just a glove box but it’s my car. I would seriously rethink any buying of a new car here because eventually it will need to be serviced and it won’t be returned to you the way you left it. I have to go back there again because it needs to be fixed again! I feel very disappointed and extremely devalued as a customer

"Buyer beware, I am out $430.00 from Lithia Reno Subaru"

Buyer beware, I am out $430.00 from Lithia Reno Subaru. Recently I purchased a 2020 Subaru Forester from Lithia Reno Subaru. I also purchased a couple of accessories for the Subaru Forester at Lithia Reno Subaru and scheduled a day to have the accessories installed. One of the accessories, the Subaru Forester cargo separator was not at all what I had expected after seeing it installed. I asked that the cargo separator be removed and a refund credited to my account. Several months later and long story short, Lithia Reno Subaru will not accept the return of the cargo separator for a refund. Lithia Reno Subaru offered a onetime 30% discount on the next service needed on the 2020 Subaru Forester. This discount cannot come close to the $430.00 I spent on the cargo separator and installation cost. This experience has made me a very dissatisfied customer. Amazon has the same OEM cargo separator for the 2020 Subaru Forester on their website. Amazon and their resellers usually have a great return policy. I was unaware that Lithia Reno Subaru would not accept the return of an item if a customer was not 100% satisfied.

"Not posiitive"

1, Call from Lithia saying I owe $500 deductible from a previous repair. Told him I was not about to pay that. That it was their responsibility to collect from the insurance, Farm Mutual. Went back and forth; left it as I was not going to pay as t was not my responsibility. My insurance is State Farm. I was upset and angry. 2. When the repair was done (above) there was another problem under the car that wasn't checked. Had to take it back in to be fixed. 3. Passenger mirror broken. Lithia replaced with wrong mirror, and I need to eventually take it back in for replacement., Replaced with a lower grade mirror that did not match the driver side mirror. 4. My sunroof shattered because of a chip made from a gravel truck. The car then exposed to -3 degrees and up to 37 degrees on top of Pine Creek Pass, Idaho. Called Lithia at least six times and left message for person: 3 times one day, 2 times the next, 1 time next. Never returned my call. Gave up, and used Sunroof Express. 5. I've bought 2 cars from Lithia: a 2013 subaru legacy that was supposed to have all the safety features--and did not. Salesman error. Tried to make up for it with other offers, but would not replace as I had driven it brand new to Idaho (that was when I discovered we did not have safety featueres--blind spot and ability to slow down on its own when approaching other cars. 6. Bought a second 2017 subaru legacy, with safety features. Given Lithia a lot of business over the years Then bought a 2017 subaru. I have 3.

"Oil change"

I came in for a basic oil change. It was a weekday morning so it was not very busy. I left my car and walked over to Lillys for breakfast as I was not in a rush. I don't remember the service mans name? I did get a voice mall message while at breakfast to let me know that I needed a cabin Filter? I called back and left a message to go ahead and change the filter. He quoted the price of $100.00 for the part and labor, what I expected was a $75 oil change and it turned into a $200.00 visit. When I returned to the service center the work had not been down on the filter. I told the service man that I had left a message to go ahead and do the work. I guess he didn't retrieve it? He said that it would take just a few minutes to change the filter. My aunt was with me so we went to the lounge and sat at one of the tables. the service rep , came back twice to talk to a customer behind us on a small sofa. She had apparently bought a new car and hew as spending a lot of time with her discussing the options etc. We were there for at least 30 minutes and the service man finally came back and told me he didn't see us??? he never acknowledged me when i was sitting right in front of the other customer.? All he had to do was call out my name? Very poor service in my opinion, this was my third request for a review here you go!

I come last September 7, 2019 to change oil my Subaru wrx . I found that my car was oil. Leak . When I, come back last September 14,2019 we found that drain plug had double gaskets. We scratched both driver side front rear wheels.

"Service tries to blame the owner for problem"

I went to service with a running board on an Outback that had come loose and the service people tried to claim we had hit something that caused the issue. We had a scuff on the running board (looked like my daughters shoe had done it) which they claimed someone hit us, but could not have without damaging the door when door was closed and it had no damage. They then looked under the running board and claimed we had several spots of where we had hit something. In closer feel of the spots, chunks of horse poop came off and that was what the warranty person claimed was what we had hit on. We have herds of wild horses in our neighborhood and they leave piles. So be very careful when you try to get warranty service as it was obvious from all the people that came out that doing something under warranty was a bad thing to them. This really makes me concerned about the care and the "bumper-to-bumper" warranty that we extended to 7 years.

We purchased a used vehicle from this dealership. some work that needed to be done on the car was either not done or not done properly. I called the original salesman about the problem I was put in touch with the floor manager, Mr. Richard Atkinson. He listened to our concerns and said he would take care of them; and he did. Mr. Atkinson not only listened to our concerns, he made sure the work was done properly. We found him pleasant and professional. From purchasing the car until I picked up the car (three or four visits) all of the staff were friendly and asked if they could help us and offer us bottled water.
