I purchased a 2004 Toyota Camry Limited Edition through a aut Well let's just say Jim blew me away! My last purchase with Lou Fusz was 13 years ago. I purchased a 2004 Toyota Camry Limited Edition through a automobile broker. Have had really bad experiences with Salesmen just as recent as last week. Jim told me to give him a chance and that he would be up-front with me and not haggle back and forth with the finance manager (those games drive me nuts). When I met with Jim I already had a ballpark figure of my trade-in (thanks to Amber who I was chatting with online the night before [awesome website]). I text with Jim and spoke with him the night prior to confirm our appointment. I knew exactly the vehicle I wanted. I also knew the dealership had only two and I know the one I wanted. We talked about the bottom line price, I received additional money from my Lou Fusz Awards (woo-hoo) and when all was said and done I walked away with a price I could afford and a beautiful fully loaded 2017 Toyota RAV-4 Limited Hybrid! This was an exceptionally smart purchase. I am so glad I gave Lou Fusz sales department a chance. They made me feel welcome, they showed me hospitality, they gave me money for my 2004 trade-in (nice surprise). The only thing that could have made this better would have been to buy me pizza for lunch (smile Jim)! I am SO glad I chose Fusz!!! Let me say one of the reasons I chose to give their sales for a try is all due to the exceptional service I've received over thirteen years from their service department! Bravo Scott! Bravo Jim! From the minute I walked in off the street and told Cody what I wanted, he listened, asked the right questions, and helped me figure out the best financing options. From that point on, he and the rest of the sales team made an effort to locate a car that met my requirements and bring it to St. Louis. I never felt that they pushed me to buy just any car in their inventory, but they were willing to work with me so I could get the car I really wanted. I am now the proud owner of a shiny red Prius Three! Thank you all! More
Salesman was great, Finance guy not so much We purchased a used RAV4 on October 30th. I posted a 5 star review the next day. Our salesman was great, and I stand by that review for him. However, we did have an issue with the finance man, Travis Burch. The day after our purchase, I noticed that our address was incorrect on all the finance paperwork. The house number was correct, but the street was wrong. I believe it was due to the auto-fill feature on the computer. When the house number came up on the screen, he must have pushed "enter" and didn't pay attention to the street name. Anyway, mistakes happen. My issue is that I contacted Mr. Burch several times over the next couple of days via email and voice mail, requesting that he correct the address with the financial institution. My concern was that we wouldn't receive the statement to make the first payment. Mr Burch finally responded via email, saying "Ok, NO problem. Sorry for the mistake". I then received an email from Nathan Pitchford, saying he could have "Bill" contact me (I don't know who Bill is), or I could contact the bank myself if we set up the financing ourselves (we didn't). I responded to Mr. Pitchford, told him that they (the dealer) set it up. I also told him that I wasn't confident it was taken care of, and to please follow up and confirm that it was handled. I never heard from him again. Yesterday, December 5th, I contacted the financing bank to see why we haven't received anything from them regarding payments. Apparently it was mailed last month TO THE WRONG ADDRESS. I was pretty irritated so I emailed Mr. Pitchford - he responded by saying that he was told it was taken care of. This was such a simple problem with such an easy fix, but everyone just chose to ignore it. Again, great salesman, and I love the car. More
