We began looking at Camrys, and ended buying a RAV4. Sales manager Ralph Harper helped us to narrow our choices for a better fit for us. Cody very kindly answered several questions one day when Alicia and Ralph were not available. We did not feel pressured during dealings. The day after we bought the RAV4, Alicia called us to be sure that the purchase went well, and was there anything that she could do for us. We are anticipating that the 2012 RAV4 will give us many enjoyable miles of traveling. More

There were some slopiness in paperwork and lack of attention to details that caused the dealer owing me $199 in overpayment The specifics entailed doublecounting of an option already included in the original MSRP. There were never any ill intent but simply absence of percisin in paper work. Once the error was discovere by me, it took far too long to receive a check for that error. I would still go to this dealership because the staff do their best eventhough at times appear powerrless. My special thanks to Joe Scott, Ralph Harper, Mat Baker and Chris Hardin for involvement to resolve my issues. More

But after finding such a great price on the exact car we wanted, I decided we'd give it a try...fully prepared to leave if I was the least bit uncomfortable or pressured. But what I encountered was a pleasant surprise. Nice people, gave us a reasonable amount for our trade, and worked hard to make sure we got the needed financing (at a respectable rate). It was worth the hour and a half drive to this small town to get such a great experience! Thanks Lugoff Toyota for giving us our dream convertible! Will be back :) More

Steer clear of Lugoff Toyota dishonest to the core. Lugoff Toyota is a car dealership that certainly lives up to the stereotypical sleazeball sale guys that many have grown to dread dealing with when tr Lugoff Toyota is a car dealership that certainly lives up to the stereotypical sleazeball sale guys that many have grown to dread dealing with when trying to buy a new car. There setup is your typical pawn you off on a sales associate to try to butter you up for the sales manager to make the close. Unfortunately our sales rep seemed more interested interested in what was going on outside the window than my wife and I and and didn't know a darn thing about the vehicle we wanted to buy. The sales manager Matt he swoops in and says they don't have the specific car we want but has found one and will order it for us. He scurries away then swoops in again and proclaims he has found the vehicle we want. He then starts calculating numbers so fast you would need to be IBM robot to compute. Then we come to the bottom dollar, which I agree to before he scurries away. I get papers to sign only to find on the last sheet they have slide back in the document fees. Since I still have a limited ability to add I refuse to sign and asks Matt to return. He tells me they got to charge those document fees. I tell him well I don't have to sign then because it was not what I agreed to and we walk. It gets better from here. Two weeks pass and we really want a RAV 4. I check Lugoff again they just received the exact one we want. My wife calls Cody and tells him she has been pre-approved and is waiting on the check from the bank and we will buy the car. Cody tells her is personally taking the key and putting in the safe for her. Her check arrives within 2 days and she calls Cody back to tell him we are coming. He doesn't answer so she leaves two messages. She gets no reply so she leaves a message with the General Manager and still gets no reply. A week passes so I call and happen to get Cody and ask him whats up. He says car is still available so I say great get me the final price and we will come tomorrow to buy the car if the price is what we expect it to be. 2 hours pass and no reply so I call back and finally get Cody again and he says he will call me back in 5 minutes. No reply for another 2 hours. I call again and get transferred to Mike. He tells me the car has been sold and tries to sell me one of a different color. These guys are the absolute sleaziest bunch you will ever deal with and I am taking my business else where. Honesty is everything to me. If you can not stand by your word you are nothing and that what Toyota of Lugoff is a Big Nothing. Happy ending to my story I contacted Will Scott Toyota in Sumter SC. They honored their price and personally delivered the RAV4 to my work and handled the paper work on the spot. This was a 2 hour drive for them so they went out of their way to make us happy and it was appreciated. More
