My husband and I were extremely happy with the service we received. Our salesperson Ben Gates was friendly, funny and very easy to deal with. He was not pushy at all. I was lied to about the Corrosion on the dark chrome trim. I was told by Rich and others in the dealership that it was no big deal I just needed to bring it back in and they will fix it (Luther Hyundai trim. When they finally got me in they did fix couple of issues. I noticed right away that The trim looked almost worse than it did when I brought it there. There is no communication between sales, service, finance. Before I brought it to the dealership I had a bad experience trying to get answers for the vehicle. No one had a straight answer for anything. I received a call from a lady, her name started with a C. She said that the scratches on the interior of the Front driver side window will not be covered. She said it was on me because there must’ve been “pebbles” in the door. It was cleaned off with just Windex at the end. I was told by Brian, a supposed manager That they would do nothing about the trim. After I went into the managers office and tried to tell them there was a service bulletin and It need to be fixed. Brian then got the car and pulled it up to the dealership by backing it up 50% in the handicap parking spot. I am handicap, this made me very upset. I raise my voice and use the F word and he seemed like it was nothing of a issue. I wish I could attach the pictures. I then tried to have him look at the trim again and explain to me what should be next. He said I should Buy some sort of compound and fix it myself. This is all about the dark chrome trim at this point, and then we got into an argument over what should and shouldn’t be covered. He was agitated and told me “ I’m done with you“ with a very interesting hand Gesture. Mary (regional) Called and said there is a service bulletin and it should be fixed.Rich in the managers will not return my phone calls. I don’t deal well with people that lied to my face and refuse to do what should be done. This is the only dealership I’ve had trouble with. Corporate told me it should’ve been covered, they have no idea why they would refuse covering it. I have an appointment set up at a different dealership and all of the trim is on order. Hopefully just a bad egg for Hyundai and Genesis owners. I can now immensely enjoy my G 70 launch edition. Over and out. More
