He gave himself 10/10 on a survey I was supposed to do even though we had several disagreements and he acknowledged that it wasn’t a great experience. He did it really quick on the iPad and said that I’d be getting one later and I did not. I’m sorry to say this, because I really loved this dealership before, and had bought every car there since 2012 or so. This is my 3rd car from them. When we bought a new car in 2015 it was so chill and fun, and that’s why I went back. This was not the case this time. From refusing to take the vehicle from the showroom floor, to saying “ it’s Luther, what are we gonna do?” When I refused to sign blank papers that said “contract is legal and binding.” It was surreal. Maybe he didn’t think I had the means or credit to buy the car? I don’t know, but I suspect it was only after realizing I *could* actually buy the car, that he let me test drive it. He had initially said he wouldn’t get it out because he had to “move all those other cars.” Then he acted like he did ME a favor by pulling it out. We actually argued 3 separate times. Everything was an issue. After signing all the papers, I said I would come back to take delivery in the morning at 0930, he said he doesn’t get there till 1300. I said I’ll be there at 0930 regardless, and so he did come at 0930, but it sucked to have another awkward squabble. He said he’d have the car ready but did not; there was no full tank like they said would be done. I said I was just ready to go, but he insisted we take an uncomfortable short ride to the gas station. It was my worst car buying experience, even worse than when I had bad credit and a crap downpayment. Seriously. Again, I’m sorry but this was bad. More
