First time buyer I researched a vehicle online and I contacted the dealership to confirm a vehicle was still available. The salesman was quick to respond an confirm. I told him I'd be there in 45-60 minutes to test drive. As I was driving to the dealer, the salesman was blowing up my phone. I arrived about 60 minutes after he confirmed the vehicle. When I arrived, he gave me a story that another customer was interested and on their way to the dealership. Shocking right? During the test drive he wouldn't stop blabbing and kept messing with his phone like it was the other interested customer. I couldn't pay attention to the vehicle's performance or other points of interest. Super distracting and annoying. I guess this is part of his smoke and mirrors tactics... no pun intended. I caught him in a lie immediately with the non-smoker comment. There were TWO cigarette burns on the driver side door! He made a few other comments that were xx as well. Long story short, I needed a car fast. I bought the car. I will not work with or recommend this salesman. He fits the stereotype mold of a used car salesman perfectly. The dealership prices and customer service is fine. I'll recommend. The car runs fine. Glad I did my research ahead. It saved me time cutting through the salesman's giant load of xx. More
