Oil change and 35,000 mile check-up I had scheduled the appointment in advance and they got me in a little ahead of time (so I just waited for the vehicle). Caught in lies. I brought my 15 sierra in due to transfer case issues. Since the first winter i had it(2016) its had noticeable issues. I pretty much had given up on I brought my 15 sierra in due to transfer case issues. Since the first winter i had it(2016) its had noticeable issues. I pretty much had given up on using the 4wd all together and placed 5 80lb sandbags in the rear for traction. The 4wd has a really hard time disengaging and a loud rubbing noise. I was first told there was a linkage adjustment done. That didnt work so 36 hours later there were multiple adjustments done inside the transfercase itself. After having the vehicle for 6 days the explination is that the front tires are 10/32 and the rear are 9/32. He said we have done everything but open up the transfer case. Now my question is how do you make adjustments in the transfer case WITHOUT opening it up? I have owned 6 gm 4wd and NEVER had a problem with a 1....a 1/32 difference in tire size from front to back. Everyone i have discussed this with says that it sounds like a load of bs. Then when i finally get ahold of him today to find out if my truck is done, im told there is a stripped stud bolt on the rear pass hub. $235. Now why would I not of been informed of this in the previous 5 working days? On top of that, why was it replaced without my consent. The charges were ultimately waved but basically guarantees i will never deal with luther gmc in the future unless its a warranty issue. Especially on buying my next vehicle. More
