They sold us an absolute lemon. Entire engine gave out within 2 months of driving. Then the alternator. Then the AC compressor. When we called about a warranty for the entire engine due to recent purchase, they were rude and dismissive. Absolutely stay away if you’re looking for a used car, you have zero security in your purchase. We’ve had great experiences with different Kia dealers in other places for a decade. My spouse and I are both teachers so we have a limited budget and have been sharing a car for months due to this situation. Don’t plan to ever give another Luther location our money. Untrustworthy business to put a car literally on its last legs on the lot with a proud guarantee and carfax report of a single owner that kept up with maintenance. A real evaluation of the vehicle should have foreseen at least some of these issues. Got vehicle towed to a brand you are suppose to trust. Not the case anymore. Told them when vehicle got towed in that the alternator was bad. They charged a full diagnostic to confirm what I already told Not the case anymore. Told them when vehicle got towed in that the alternator was bad. They charged a full diagnostic to confirm what I already told them. Said the part with labor was going to be $1600 installed. Part on back order no date given at all when possible to get one. Almost a week goes by and so I called a different dealership. Got the part in hand in less than 2 hours. Go to dealership and will not remove diagnostic. Plus the new part is charged to the book of 5 hours. When I asked other dealership cost of install they said 4.6 hours. We can talk peanuts or we can talk honestly. I got an OEM remanufactered for $235. Plus $875 to install somewhere else. Luther Nissan Kia is going to charge insane prices everytime. They could care less. I do not recommend purchasing a vehicle from here or EVER using the service department. Have had 4 Nissan's in the family for over 15 years. Time to change brands and companies for sure. We are done.
