This particular service experience was OK, but I have a few concerns; - This simple appointment took way too long. The amount of vehicles parked awaiting service was greater than I've ever seen at this location. - When I asked about this, I was told that the Service Department is operating on only half-staff! - Is this because of COVID-19 restrictions or budgetary cutbacks by the dealership? - Whatever the reason, creative minds need to figure out solutions. - EVERY TIME I bring this vehicle in, I am told the cabin air filter needs replacement. I had this done 5000 miles ago. - Why was I told this again. Do this filter get that dirty that quickly? - OR: Did the technician simply mention that without really checking? I admit that this car is my daughter's car and that she allows the interior to get pretty messy, so perhaps the recommendation to replace the filter was based upon an overall impression rather than an actual inspection. - In any case, it is a simple thing for me to do myself. - Be careful about losing credibility on your service/maintenance recommendations. Lack of Communication/Integrity/Poor Salesmanship I had received a call from a gentleman who replied to an inquiry I had placed online. He had come up with a price on the vehicle that was relayed to m I had received a call from a gentleman who replied to an inquiry I had placed online. He had come up with a price on the vehicle that was relayed to me by phone. The sales person told me to come in at anytime to test drive the vehicle. I came in later that day and he told me that he did not have that car to test drive. I asked him to send me the numbers after our discussion and they were never sent. Was ready to purchase a vehicle with a 12k down payment and the rest financed from a preapproval. I checked in on the salesperson to see if he had a chance to run the numbers 2 days later and received no response. I then reached out to the dealership to find out more information and a salesperson stated that he would try to help but would not hold onto the car for at least an hour for me to come test drive the vehicle. He stated that if someone were to come in and purchase the vehicle before I got there they would sell it right away. He then told me a story of a gentleman that came over an hour away for a scheduled test drive and they sold the car 5 minutes before he arrived. I am writing this review in order help this dealership develop and implement an ethical plan for selling vehicles and providing a fair customer experience. A dealership that has associates who follow up with their customers, stick to their customer appointments and that does not sell cars to others prior to a scheduled test drive. An most importantly does not have a customer come down to test drive a vehicle when that vehicle is not in stock to test drive. Until these changes are made I would not recommend this dealership to friends and family. More
