Many thanks to the service team and managers who tried to help!! My new 2017 RAV4 had a loud whine noise related to the transmission upon deceleration. Toyota Corp had been consulted on the 2nd service visit for the same whine, presented evidence that other RAV4s had same issue, and online search also revealed evidence of problem. Today was my third service to have the issue resolved. The bottom line is that Toyota Corp. had Maita inform me that the whine falls within normal drive specs (basically, live with it because we don't know what the issue is so can't fix or issue a TSB). This is also a way for Toyota Corp to work around the CA lemon laws. Now, I have permanent buyer's remorse and my loyalty to Toyota is no longer. More

Repair issue taken care of I had an issue with my truck where I kept hearing a whistling sound every time I hit a bump, no matter the speed. I took my truck in to have them take I had an issue with my truck where I kept hearing a whistling sound every time I hit a bump, no matter the speed. I took my truck in to have them take a look at it. When they couldn't figure out what it was, I did a test drive with a technician to show them what the noise was. Marlon was extremely helpful and made sure my repair issue was resolved. Marlon helped me all three days that I had to come in for this repair. I really appreciate his help. More
Free Oil Change & tire pressure check The person who initiated my visit noticed that the front driver's side wheel cover was hanging off and it appeared that one or two of the "tabs" had b The person who initiated my visit noticed that the front driver's side wheel cover was hanging off and it appeared that one or two of the "tabs" had broken. I was told that you could buy a new set of 4 of these covers there at Maita for about $50. Well, I mentioned that I didn't have the funds right now to buy 4 new wheel covers. When I left the front driver's side wheel cover looked fully in place and so did the back drivers side wheel cover (this is the tire that I had been told was low on pressure and I wanted Maita to double-check it). Within hours, I noticed as I was pulling in to work , one of the wheel covers fell off and went rolling by me!! I stopped and picked it up in the parking lot and noticed that both the front and the back driver's side wheel covers were missing!! I bought the car in October and have not had these fall off until the same day that Maita has checked my tire pressure and told me I can buy new wheel covers there! Is this a coincidence??? I am so disappointed to have to drive my car right now without two of the wheel covers...not sure when I can afford to buy a new set of four! More

He made me confident in my decision to w My service advisor Marlon gave me the best customer service I have ever received at a car service department. He made me confident in my decision to work with Maita Toyota. I took in my car for a oil consumption problem that's covered by Toyota warranty. But after tearing down the computer when it failed the test, he found that there were other maintenance required for the car. So he advised me the best way to do so in order to save as much money as I can and still get my car repaired (through buying my own parts and getting it installed since the labor would already be covered. Most of all, he regularly made contact with me to let me know the progress done on the car. I highly recommend requesting him to be your service advisor for all your major repairs. More
