They lent me a rental car when mine got totaled for free until I could buy another one. Also wrote a quote for my deemed totaled car so I would be able to get the correct value of my car. They require out of state buyers to pay sales tax and to fly in to take possession of the vehicle so they can legally charge them sales tax. OK we can work around that, and realize it is NOT the salesperson fly in to take possession of the vehicle so they can legally charge them sales tax. OK we can work around that, and realize it is NOT the salespersons fault at all. Just found it odd they weren’t more accommodating to out of state buyers like other dealerships in the state are. But here’s the real kicker… after 6 hours of back and forth they tell us “the car isn’t safe and we won’t sell it to you.” It seems like this should be checked BEFORE you list it for sale and my entire workday has been wasted. More
