New CRV purchase in Oregon needed CA DMV smog certification I came in with an immediate need, I was sure they would not be able to take care of it right then but thought I would try. Top Notch Service From Tom I can't say enough about Tom's service. He was patient, answered all of my questions, and found the perfect car for me. Above and Beyond My Odyssey navigation system and CD player failed catastrophically when I tried to install the new navigation system. (No, I don't know why.) Honda My Odyssey navigation system and CD player failed catastrophically when I tried to install the new navigation system. (No, I don't know why.) Honda USA agreed to cover this damage even though we were three weeks out of our warranty period. Thank you, Honda USA, for doing the right thing. But the heavy lifting was on Manly Honda, which had to disassemble and reassemble the unit twice, order the parts and do the install. They kept in touch with me during the waiting period for parts delivery, made sure I knew what was going on and quickly scheduled the work when the parts became available. The dealership has a well-organized service department. My service representative Bill Robertson was helpful, calm, took his time and kept on the issue until it was solved. The shuttle service couldn't have been more efficient. And when I complained about the quality of the vending machine food, the service department found something more healthy for me to eat, making sure I maintained good blood sugar while the work was being done. (Sometimes it's the little things that count.) This failure of the nav system on a three-year-old car was a major bummer but the whole Honda organization stood behind their product and solved the problem at no dollar cost to me. Manly Honda should especially be commended for their good service since we are only part-time Sonoma County residents, and we are not regular Manly customers. Manly handled the problem for us as though we were part of the family. More
