Kudos to Mark Christopher. I thought my 2017 Silverado 2500 HD needed a transmission. Got a price from dealer before bringing it down, kinda to prepare myself. Dropped off for I thought my 2017 Silverado 2500 HD needed a transmission. Got a price from dealer before bringing it down, kinda to prepare myself. Dropped off for the inspection. On my paperwork was the price for tranny replacement I called about if needed. Next day got the call, an honest call - sir you don’t need a transmission. Just change the filter, everything is good.
