Hi George, I'm not sure you got my reply I sent to your markmiller.com email address. Here it is if you are interested: Hi George, As I am out of state for the next 2 months, I don't see that there is much you guys can do. Mostly I am curious as to why I was sold a car with a $1500 problem. The leaking head gaskets were listed on the maintenance report as "not fixed" when I bought the car. When I asked the Mark Miller salesman and the tech about it, they both assured me it wasn't a problem. Not even 2 months(~4000 miles) later the first time I take it into a shop I hear that it was a serious condition so bad that the extended warranty was willing to cover it. Luckily this pricey repair only cost me $200 ($100 for the inspection and $100 warranty deductible). I understand cars are unpredictable and maintenance is required from time to time, but this *expensive* issue was listed on maintenance report when I bought the car and I was assured by 2 of your employees that it would not be a problem in the foreseeable future. One of your tech employees called me after I had posted this review. He was very nice and sympathetic, but didn't give me any sort of explanation about why or how this happened. So I guess what you could do to *fix* this problem is give me an honest explanation about what happened. If I am in the wrong or if you feel my accusations are unfounded, please tell me. If you can provide this, I am open to reversing any negative reviews I have given both online and in person. I appreciate the outreach. Tyler Sorensen

Mark Miller Subaru Midtown responded

Hi tturbo18, Your response is very disconcerting to all of us in the service department. I sincerely apologize that the service performance was neither up to your standards nor ours. It appears that we were terrible in providing you with the level of service that we are capable of and that you deserve and expect. The conversation you had started with Nate the service advisor – then he transferred your call to the assistant manager Kenny. In the past we have had to pay for brittle vacuum lines and other miscellaneous items that would break after touching them due to the heat and age of the rubber while completing the fuel line replacement, Subaru declined payment for the additional parts replacement. After speaking with Kenny and Nate this morning, Kenny or Nate did not handle your call properly – they did not scrutinize the enigma presented and properly resolve your concerns in a conscientious manner. Kenny and Nate both know now and understand the correct way to handle these situations, to apprise the customer of what Subaru’s rigid stances have been in the past, obtain the customers information, contact Subaru in their behalf to see if we can get additional items covered at no expense to the customer or Mark Miller Subaru. I have counseled Kenny and Nate on their handling of the customers; they understand that we are your advocate with Subaru. It is our mission to get issues resolved in the benefit of the customer. Please accept my apology for this gaffe and not meeting or exceeding your expectations. Warm regards Randy Harrison Fixed Operations Director Mark Miller Midtown – South Towne 801-268-3734 randyh@markmiller.com

Worst experience ever. Do not shop for a car here, they will sell it to another person while you are waiting, even if you've already made a deal. More
