Horrible Service After the Sale. I thought the sale went smoothly; I got the car I wanted at a really good price and got financing. But the service after the sale was horrible. Vernon Sharper promised me a part that he never delivered on. Plus, the window in my brand new car didn't work which I got no support from Vernon Sharper. I tried to work through Martin KIA service and they couldn't get the car in the shop for over a month to fix a window on a 2 week old car. I left several voice messages for Vernon Sharper over the course of a week for updates on the promised part and to find out the process to get the window fixed. Vernon Sharper didn't return any of my calls. It wasn't until I left another detailed message but added that my next call would be to KIA Cooperate. That got Vernon Sharper's attention and he finally returned my call a day later. In regards to the promised part - Vernon Sharper implied it was my fault for not following up about the part. He said, I should have called him. Granted, I left 3 messages regarding the part and window. He then implied it was my fault for not calling his cell phone. He said he never checks his desk phone - which was a lie because he called me back after I mentioned calling KIA Corporate. Vernon Sharper mentioned that he has 1,500 other customers and implied they were more important than me. I never got the part - Vernon Sharper never ordered it, this is 3 weeks after the sale, 3 voice mails, a returned call and a one-to-one call all referencing the part. I ended up buying it elsewhere. As for the window - Martin KIA couldn't get my car in the shop for over a month, Vernon Sharper did nothing to expedite this. I called a local KIA dealer, their service representatives looked at the window 2 days after I called them and they had my car in the shop a week later. I honestly thought the sale went well; I saved a few hundred bucks over the competitor. I even went out of my way to thank the manager - I believe her name was Shannon - for the easy sales experience. She told me - that she reminds herself that while she may sell cars every day, people don't buy them every day. And, she wants to make the experience as easy as possible for each customer. I know she made me feel like the most important person at Martin KIA that day. Now, I saved a few hundred bucks at Martin KIA and Shannon treated me like the most important person in the world, but Vernon Sharper has horrible service after the sale and I will take my business to my local KIA dealership. I feel bad that I didn't buy my car from my local KIA dealership in the first place; they have always treated me great and still do, even though I didn't buy my car there. Martin KIA, specifically Vernon Sharper, treated me horribly after the sale and I wouldn’t recommend doing business with him. More

Tracy is amazing. This is the 2nd vehicle we have purchased from Martin (along with our daughter and her boyfriend also purchased vehicles from Tracy). Tracy and Vernon went out of their way to find the vehicle we wanted. They both made the torture of buying a car a pleasure. I didn't feel like I was being raked over the coals. They were fair and honest from the start. Tracy is the best car salesman that I have ever dealt with (and I have a finance mgr and a dealership manager in my family. They both work for different companies. So it shows how well Tracy treated us.) Tracy really cares about his customers. I also have to give a shout out to Mark in finance. He was very helpful and answered all of our questions. He was very knowledgeable and very professional. So I must say the reason I had to buy a car so soon was not fun (my car was totaled in an accident) but my experience at Martin was great. More
