As retirement is just around the corner for me I had asked Garrett about a vehicle that would suit my and my husbands needs. I know when I am ready to purchase another vehicle, I am returning to Elk Grove Mazda. Their service department has given the greatest service. I ended up going back the next day since I was interested in the Mazda 3 Touring and didn’t get the chance to look at much the previous visit. Jaik assited us during our second visit. We have had unpleasant experienc We drove 2 hours to work with the Mazda dealership and Salesman, Garret Oxnaes, because of a friend's recommendation. We have had unpleasant experiences with other car dealerships and did not want to walk into a pressured situation that we just wanted to escape from. Garrett is a good salesman, friendly, no pressure, and thoroughly explained the variants between the different trims of the CX-5 we were looking for. Good psychologist! He took us out in the top of the line trim CX-5 Grand Touring with a premium package. We spent 6 hours together going over colors, trim, and then a thorough and lengthy explanation on how every knob, button, and screen worked. We bought it. We spent more than we had planned on but we felt that for the top of the line car we drove home, we received a fair deal, and we're very happy with the car. I have to commend Garrett for hanging in there with us until well after closing time. We were all tired but he was always positive, good natured, and made sure that we were confident and informed about out new car. I recommend anyone looking for a Mazda within driving distance to make an appointment with Garrett. More
