One of the better dealerships for service. Bottom line, no dealership is ever going to be a bargain for repairs. There was not the over zealous push of services that I have often found at dealerships. Suggested needs mentioned for my vehicle were within reason. Only reason I didn't give a 5 for quality is that I haven't had the opportunity to use the 4wd they repaired so I really don't know yet. Truck was returned clean (which was definitely not how I brought it in) and ready to roll. More

Third & Final Vehicle Purchase. Let me begin this review with the Sales Department. Travis has been our sales rep for all three of our vehicle purchases at Mel Hambelton. He has alwa Let me begin this review with the Sales Department. Travis has been our sales rep for all three of our vehicle purchases at Mel Hambelton. He has always been dedicated to finding us a vehicle that meets our needs and budget. On this last purchase, Travis seemed to be a little more pushy than usually but in the end was able to redeem himself. During the purchase we had some concerns about an engine noise. In order to persuade us to purchase the vehicle, Ron stepped in and offered us a 2yr/24000 mile powertrain warranty at no charge in addition to the work they were already doing on the truck. The deal seemed sweet at that point and we moved on to financing. In the finance room, we were told that we could refinance our truck at a later date when we would have more funds available for a down payment. James upgraded the powertrain warranty to the bumper-to-bumper because the vehicle we purchased was still being worked on and he wanted to make sure we were covered until we refinanced. At the time of refinance discussions, James told us that we could remove the bumper-to-bumper and go back to the powertrain warranty we had been given at no charge by Ron. Seems great, right? When it came time to refinance, we tried to get in contact with James but instead he had Austin call us. Long story short, Austin informed us that we could NOT refinance at the same terms as we had discussed with James. The car note would become shorter and all warranties would be voided. At that point, it took a personal trip to the dealership in order to get the bumper-to-bumper warranty cancelled and for them to offer us a 3yr/100000 mile powertrain warranty. Overall, James had lied to us the entire time we had been in the finance room. Kind of shocking considering we've never had an issue with James before. Prior to this purchase we would highly recommend Mel Hambelton, but now, BUYER BEWARE! Update: Since writing our review, Mel Hambelton has reached out to us to try and resolve this issue. Unfortunately, there's nothing they could do to fix the situation. **Update**This vehicle purchase has become the biggest headache!! We've had the vehicle 5 months and there's already a AC component out. Since MH was all about making things right with us before, we figured we'd reach out to them. What a joke!! To shorten up the response, we were told "had you kept the warranty you upgraded to it would have been covered." That WE upgraded to??? More like the warranty we were lied to about!!! I wouldn't recommend this place, service department, or Travis to anyone!!! More

2002 F250 Service i had never had anyone touch my truck for service since i bought it brand new in October 2001. i had your service team replace the spark plugs and do i had never had anyone touch my truck for service since i bought it brand new in October 2001. i had your service team replace the spark plugs and do a engine flush. they had an incident during that process and resolved it ASAP. i was out of the country during this and relied on the integrity of you team to do the right thing. they walked me through what happened and how they corrected the issue. very impressed. i also bought my wife a new f150 in 2014 and so far the service has been exceptional. thanks bob More

The atmosphere at the dealership is great too: they have everything to make you and your family feel comfortable such as TVs,food bar, and computers to use. The service is outstanding. The employees,managers,and owners are caring, helpful and informative. They do everything to insure your experience is great start to finish.The process is fast and efficient, but not rushed. I felt like my satisfaction was always key; their 1st goal. My Salesman was STAN BOGDAN and I can't say enough positive things about this man. He helped me though the whole process, answering all my questions. He is a great listener; hearing what I wanted, making suggestions, never rushing me though the process. In the end, the exact car that I wanted wasn't on their lot but Stan looked though Fords inventory and brought it in for me from another state. Their service department is excellent too. My new car hasn't needed servicing yet, but i have had my other cars serviced there in the past and the same rave reviews apply. Would obviously recommend Mel Hambelton Ford. If you go ask for STAN BOGDAN, you won't be disappointed! More
