A courtesy vehicle was always made available to me so that my business hours did not get impacted. We lease my wife a new car every three years and thought we would try Mercedes for the first time. She sent an email to the Mercedes dealership and David responded quickly with email content that encouraged us to visit the dealership to learn more. David had given us a good idea of the discounts available. My wife said we would be there early afternoon the same day. I'm an Electrical Engineer and want to learn the details of the car. I want a salesman who knows the details inside and out, and will respond to my questions with the details I'm looking for, but without being overbearing and forceful. My wife is a residential interior designer and has different interests and questions. My wife and I don't like pushy sales people. Since we never had a Mercedes previously, we had a lot to learn. David asked us important questions upfront and zeroed in on exactly what my wife was looking for, and our price range. He did this in a very friendly manner, informative without being pushy but a wealth of information about the car, presented in an engaging way for us. He found a car on the lot that had the exterior and interior colors that my wife preferred, and with the options she wanted. During the test drive he taught us a lot about the car, before we left the dealership, during the test drive, and when we returned to the dealership. The financials were right in line with our price range, and much more competitive than the dealership of the car my wife had leased three years ago (Cadillac XTS) and was presently driving. We decided to lease the Mercedes E350, and were excited to experience our first Mercedes. While waiting for the paperwork to be completed I walked around the dealership to check it out, especially the customer lounge with the beverages and snacks. Everywhere I walked the dealership staff went out of their way to be friendly and try to help me. My wife and I felt at home and were treated well by everyone. We met with Eric Palmsteen, the Business Manager, to go through and sign the paperwork. We were impressed with the Mercedes approach of giving the customer choices rather than making the choices for the customer. Eric went out of his way to be friendly and personable, while at the same time being professional and efficient in explaining choices to us and getting through the paperwork in a timely manner. When we finished both Eric and David spent time with us talking about our new Mercedes. David spent time with us outside teaching us more about our new Mercedes before we left with the new car. Since this is our first Mercedes my wife went back to the dealership three days after driving the Mercedes to spend time with David to get her questions answered. My wife and I can't say enough about David, Eric and the customer focus of everyone at the dealership. We had a very pleasant experience and my wife loves her new Mercedes! More
