My Son’s Dream Car Turned Into a $55,000 Paperweight and this Mamabear is LIVID! First, I want to acknowledge that the buying experience itself was pleasant. The staff were friendly and professional. But this Mamabear is LIVID! First, I want to acknowledge that the buying experience itself was pleasant. The staff were friendly and professional. But unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. My son saved diligently for 10 months to purchase his dream car after graduating college—a Shelby Mustang GT350. He put every dollar he had into this vehicle, only to end up with a car that is now undriveable (a literal paperweight). Within just 72 hours of purchase, the car began making a terrible noise and had to be towed to a repair shop. The diagnosis? A bad clutch and timing chain—both extremely expensive repairs. The dealership refuses to take any responsibility, claiming that the clutch could have gone bad during the 700-mile drive back to Kansas City, MO from Ohio. That’s simply not believable and untrue! My son even mentioned during the test drive that the clutch felt off. The car only had 21,000 miles on it—far too few for such major issues to be considered normal wear and tear. Now, my son is left with a $55,000 car sitting in our garage that he cannot afford to fix. He’s young, excited, and trusted the dealership to sell him a reliable vehicle. Instead, he was sold a car with serious mechanical problems that were likely present before the sale. I understand the risks of buying used, but this situation feels deeply unfair and unethical and I believe they either new or missed the issues. Also it has very nice expensive stereo system but it is running hot and only a few speakers work, this was also not disclosed. A reputable dealership should stand behind the cars they sell—especially when issues arise so quickly and with such low mileage. Literally happened within 72 hours of purchasing the vehicle. More

I have had experience with 3 Mercedes Benz Dealerships with extremely bad experiences with Mercedes Benz of Akron and Mercedes Benz of Youngstown. I drove 70 miles for their service. When I purchase my next new Mercedes in two years, it will be from them. They have earned my respect, admiration and loyalty!!!!!! Every award they received from Mercedes Benz they deserve. Worst place on earth they are disrespectful dishonest and lack communication, they made me go back and forth for one week to prove ownership for the vehicle after I provided the registration and they could n lack communication, they made me go back and forth for one week to prove ownership for the vehicle after I provided the registration and they could not take it even though it said all the information that they need because they said it’s expired then I provided another form when I bought the vehicle that has the name and the Vin number and that wasn’t good enough for them after this, they told me to go call my bank and get the papers when I Bought the car So my bank provided it to me after 48 hours and then showed it to them and they said no that doesn’t work then they remembered that all you can go to the title Bureau and get a copy like you told me this from the beginning Then after this, I asked when the car will be done. It was Friday. She said that on Monday, so I was trying to shoot for Saturday and she just kept saying it wouldn’t work. We need the boss or the supervisor to be here so he can submit the papers to Mercedes so they can provide them PIN number I said isn’t the guy that can do this here today she stated yes I said OK. Can he submit these papers today? She said yeah that’s what he is going to do. I said OK so today is Monday any days over and I still didn’t even get a call from the north text message to tell me what happened to the car. I called the person and they hang up on me. Then I called Mercedes and I was transferred to Cody, and asked him what happened. He put me on hold then came back and told me we submitted the papers to Mercedes. We were waiting on the pin number which is that’s what the girl told me that they’re going to do on Friday so I was trying to tell him that and he got all nasty attitude and told me can you please not cut me off when I’m trying to talk, so I said so you’re telling me to shut up another words he said I didn’t say this and hang up on me Then 45 minutes later, the girl text me and told me that they’re waiting on the code and she will let me know tomorrow. I texted her back saying you told me on Monday she claimed she told me no I said possibly on Monday when she literally told me on Monday and that’s why I was shooting for Saturday. And today Tuesday I get a text from them saying they need another 590 because they can’t communicate with the car and they need to dig for 3 hours !!!!!! Lol what a specific number and I guess there is no charge for fixing the problem after the 3 hours digging for it !!!!! Lol wow More

She is unfailingly friendly, knowledgeable, and super professional. For example, I had an unexpected electrical problem this morning when the service department was swamped. Despite that, Stacey found a way to squeeze me into the schedule and shuttle me to work amazingly fast. I had the car back in a few hours. It's hard to imagine any better service than that!
