2 Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with several aspects of the visit. To begin with, the Lyft ride provided was very unpleasant; the car had a strong odor and was much too small to sit in comfortab aspects of the visit. Additionally, I found the communication regarding a rental vehicle to be poor. I was not offered a rental until after I had already arrived, at which point I was told I should have reserved one in advance. Furthermore, my vehicle was not washed as expected. I also had to proactively follow up with my service advisor to get clarity on the status of my car after receiving a text message that was quite confusing. I had a flat tire. The insurance company called to let the service center know the car would be dropped off. Upon arrive, the client service advisor has no idea I would be coming. I explained I had a run and tire package. He told me I had to handle that in my own. At no point did he take the time to understand what I was saying. He then wore down my mileage wrong which I asked him to correct and he again got it wrong. Upon picking up the car, the service advisor was not listening and did not take the necessary care to calm me and kept asking me the same questions over and over. I had to come in 3 times to get action. I asked the receptionist to have the manager calm me, which never happened. I would most likely not use this facility again. Nor would I recommend this advisor or facility. It was the worst Mercedes experience I have ever had. More
I am not satisfied at all with my recent service. First off, a few years back when my vehicle was under warranty, I brought my vehicle in for a clunking issue in the rear. The service technician at the time could not diagnose the issue and told me nothing was wrong, but the noise was still present and now it is worse. Now present day, my warranty is now expired. I went to Mercedes Benz in rocklin last Wednesday and spoke with David the service manager and Sean service advisor , and David promised me that he will look into my issue and fix it for $199 plus 25% off parts. So, I agreed to those terms. But rather than fixing my initial clunking issue. They decided to look for other issues with my vehicle. horrible experience, beware! paid $280 for a diagnosis and given quote of repair at over 10,000 dollars. Took sprinter van to another shop next day and had van fixed with a $10 paid $280 for a diagnosis and given quote of repair at over 10,000 dollars. Took sprinter van to another shop next day and had van fixed with a $100 part (sensor) and labor , which wasn’t even on the quote from rocklin. Was told my situation looked bad and battery acid was the culprit. Turned out that the battery acid didn’t do the damage as alleged by the mechanic. Seriously disappointed and will never return to that dealership again. IMO this was unethical and possibly worse. Sad and disgusting. The should return my $280 diagnosis fee at the least More
