Leaving this review after an extremely disappointing car-buying experience. This review has nothing to do with the sales team or the used car manager, both of whom tried to be helpful. However, my overall experience with Mercedes-Benz of Rocklin fell far short of what I would expect—especially from a dealership positioning itself as a luxury brand. I recently purchased a used 2025 Ford Ranger Raptor and worked with Proferia. The sales process itself went smoothly, and the team was able to get the vehicle within my target price. A week later, I flew from San Diego to pick up the truck. The day before, I confirmed my 9:00 AM arrival time. When I arrived, the vehicle was not ready, and I waited in the lobby for about 30 minutes. I don’t mind waiting, but this could have been communicated ahead of time—especially since the finance manager doesn’t arrive until 10:00 AM. The real issue occurred after the deal was finalized and I took possession of the vehicle. Shortly after leaving the lot, I realized the driver’s seat was not functioning properly. I immediately returned to the dealership, and Proferia took the truck to your technicians. About 15 minutes later, she informed me there was no solution and that I would need to take the vehicle to Ford for service. This was confirmed by the used car manager. Selling a vehicle with a known mechanical issue and then directing the buyer elsewhere for resolution is unacceptable. I was—and still am—extremely disappointed by how this was handled. The excitement of a new vehicle was entirely overshadowed by the disappointment of the experience and because of that I cannot recommend this dealership to others. More
