Lisa took the time to understand what I was looking for and put me in a super beautiful 2013 Dodge Ram 1500, and the red really works for me. Thank-you Lisa 100% on your knowledge, and professionalism. Also, a 100% shout out to Steve Coimbria, for his knowledge of navigating the financing for my truck. Steve answered all my questions, and I did not once make me feel like I was being strung along. Thank-you Steve. And one more shout out to someone who may not get the recognition she deserves, Cassie, at the front desk who took my calls. The staff at Merchant's clearly are knowledgeable professionals who take pride in finding the right car and terms for their customers. My sales team today included Mike Amburg (who I will always consider my # 1 choice from whom to purchase a car - outstanding in every way possible - patient, informative and a warm friendly man); Scott Rienert (Sales Manager who monitored my transaction from start to finish and made sure I left a satisfied customer) and Gordon Lewis in the financing department who put together a finance plan within my stated budget and also provided me with additional coverage that I was unaware of and very relevant to someone who is self employed. We have all experienced the anxiety of car shopping at one time or another, but this just doesn't seem to happen with the Merchant's crew. I honestly felt like a valued customer and never felt rushed to "seal a deal". I would encourage anyone looking for a pre-owned vehicle to check out the very informative and extensive inventory on Merchant's website, and bring your wish list to the staff. They will do their absolute best to make it happen. A heartfelt thank you to my sales team - I love my new Jeep! More

2013 Ford Edge It wasn't a bad experience albeit not all that great as others have said. I will start off by stating I talked extensively with customer service (Lisa Annunziata) and was assured that they had the vehicles I wanted to look at in the front so I could do a quick walk through and if they didn't have what I was comfortable with they would get other vehicles to look at. 1) I don't lie to others for a simple reason: there is nothing good that comes out of it. So when we got down to the dealership; the person I was 'assigned' to was non-existent, the vehicles were still parked in the lot not even moved, the salesman (Harold) although he was decent - was still pressuring me into getting a vehicle that was my first choice. When I wanted to go out into the lot and look around Harold looked at me in disbelief. Come on really?? I drove 75 miles to come here to see what if any vehicles would fit my specific needs so whats with the looks? Before I even came down I had previewed their inventory, did a quick recall list on the vehicles I was interested in, in addition I had for kicks and giggles google searched 'reviews for merchants auto'. The manager explained to me that yelp was unfriendly and yada yada yada. I hate to say this but they really only print and allow to print glowing reviews. If this gets printed I will be VERY surprised as it will hurt their ego. They want to think they are a better than average dealership, all they are is mediocre at best. If you have bad credit or less than perfect you're screwed. My credit was 622 and dropped down to 500ish and I had a VERY hard time getting financed. It wasn't until my wife had an idea that allowed me to get financed. Yet they claim to have at least 7 finance options.... Service department seems ok but for the most part I will have my repair shop closer to my home service the Ford as I don't trust just any mechanic handle my vehicles. Many times through out the sales pitches, financing, etc. me and my family was left alone. Yes, we were there for over 4 hours, than the idiots washed a vehicle in near 0 temperatures so the doors would freeze. Yes, I mentioned that to Harold and I was pissed they would DARE to wash a vehicle then leave it in the elements so it could freeze. (door gaskets sticking and ripping due to ice comes to mind, not to mention windows icing so if I needed to roll them down I'm SOL. Long story short: they are mediocre, expect you to stay longer than normal if you don't pre-qualify before you come down. Although they are friendly, friendly doesn't mean anything if you're lied to by anyone in their organization. (Right Lisa??) Frank - Charlestown More

Horrible I bought a 2015 chevy sonic here and after having it for only 12 days the check engine light went on. I brought it back to merchants where they said t I bought a 2015 chevy sonic here and after having it for only 12 days the check engine light went on. I brought it back to merchants where they said they fixed it, 10 days after that the check engine light came on again found out they never fixed the original problem. I went to the sales person who I bought the car from to tell him I didn't want the car anymore he pretend he had no clue who I was but was my best friend when he took my down payment and was making his sale. He said he couldnt help me, that I would just have to get the part fixed at the service center. So i took my car to the service center to be fixed, and while at the service center one of the employees hit my car with another car. This place is a disaster they lie and are only concerned about making there money. I went several times and asked to speak to a manager and there never was one on there was always some excuse. I would never buy a car here again or let them touch my vehical! More

We had never owned a SUV kind of vehicle but were very please to be able to test drive many kinds. We never felt pressured to purchase a car. They were good to show us other cars which they had in stock that we did not think of. They worked with us and explained all the paperwork and their options to us clearly. Overall great experience and Joe was so kind and easy to work with. We will be back to buy our truck in the future. More
