What a mess of a purchase. ....put $500 down on a 22 Pacifica on June 8 to initiate the purchase. The vehicle was going to have a hitch put on it as part of the deal....we were ....put $500 down on a 22 Pacifica on June 8 to initiate the purchase. The vehicle was going to have a hitch put on it as part of the deal....we were quoted $459 to include wiring, the job was to be done off site by a trusted vendor. We were told job should be done by June 13th. Also needed was a hole repair in the upholstery in the middle seat. On the 14th we called to check on the vehicle, we were told hitch was in but vendor was short on workers bear with them, also the seat repair would be done when hitch was done. We called back on June 17th to check on the vehicle, we were told vendor was waiting on the delivery of the hitch, it would be done that day in the afternoon, also upholstery was not done yet either. We told the car dealership if the hitch couldn't be installed that day we would find a vendor on our own, at that time we were told the hitch was going to cost $499, higher than our quote. The hitch made delivery on the 17th, however it was the wrong hitch........ remember we were told it was in but vendor was short staff the prior week. We had enough, we wanted our promised vehicle and had it brought back to the dealership, the dealership had the upholstery repaired and we finally pick it out vehicle on the 17th minus the hitch.Overall not happy but we have our Chrysler Pacifica in hand.
